Registered runners for the QCIM Night Run will automatically qualify for a chance to win a brand new iPad Mini.

This was announced by QCIM Night Run race director Jay Em, who added that there will be three chances to win the brand new tablets.

“The QCIM Night Run will be held this November 29, 2014. Between now and the date of the run, we will have three draws for the registered runners. It is our way of giving back to our loyal runners who have been with us since 2010 and rewarding newbies to the QCIM.”

The first draw for the iPad Mini will be held on October 20. While the second and third draws will be done on October 25 and October 30, respectively, Em said.

“Runners who registered the earliest–meaning: Those that registered on or before October 19 will qualify for all three draws. Those that registered on or before October 23 will qualify for the October 25 (second) draw, while those that registered on or before October 28 will qualify for the October 30 (third) draw,” he explained.

Winners of the iPad Mini will be announced via social media.

The QCIM is one of the most popular and well-patronized races in Quezon City. It is part of this year’s 75th anniversary celebration of Quezon City.

  1. 5th QCIM na to. And first time na walang 42 km. Dapat nga lagyan ng half marathon. Parang yung Sofitel Manila HALF marathon. =) Nice finisher’s shirt. Sana lang maganda yung quality =)

  2. oo pre malamang tubig n walang yelo nanaman ipapainom stin nyan tapos s tapunan ng basura uli ruta nyan negative yang takbo dyan!!!!1

  3. One of the requirements to claim the race kit is a government issued ID.

  7. Nakabili ako ticket fot 21k sa sm marikina. Sa bilihan ng ticket sa cinema. Naregister ko n online Kaya lang wala pa confirmation as of this moment. Sino pwede makontak sa organizer to verify?

    • I received my email confirmation after 2 business days. You should have received your by now.

I’m now just waiting for them to release the claiming venue for the race kit.

  8. Don’t hope on the availing the prepaid card from the sports store. The sure shot is over SM tickets (on any SM), they have already on their ticketing system.
    c”,)

Di po ba pwedeng Gatorade or Pocari. Malaki naman yung registration fee eh bkt parang tinitipid.

  10. I registered online last 20 September, sabay with NB Power Run. NB sent confirmation email the next day and I received my race kit last Saturday (18-Oct). QCIM, no nothing. I finally emailed to ask for my (race) confirmation email. They replied, asked for some details, and finally got the confirmation email tonight. Advise ko lang, for any concerns, you may email them at [email protected] or [email protected] :) Relax lang :)

  11. Please let us know early the venue in claiming the race kit because we only know
at the moment the date of claiming (Nov. 20 – 23, 2014). Thank you and Mabuhay Quezon City!

    • QC city hall. Tapat nung malaking flag pole. Btw, open din registration sa cityhall. Nagpareg kami kahapon.

    factors are,
    – safety (alam nyo n, mabilis dn sila tumakbo baka sumabay)
    – hydration (tubig b? malamig nman kaya? at malamang madudumihan n un kasi nga crowded area ang lugar ng takbo at polluted,so better to bring your own nlng) sana masagot na to.. anung petsa n oh.

  13. hi gud pm bumili ako kahapon sa sm fairview nangticket for 21k distance sabi sakin ireregister ko pa raw sia tru online kasi kagabi around 8pm ung 21k distance limit reach na daw nag email na ako sakanila regarding doon sana sumagot nmn sila agad d biro ung 950 na binayad ko aa tsk tsk wala man contact # na linagay dito

    • may narecieve akong email sir ;

      Race Kit Claiming Days
      Date: November 21, 22, 23, 24 (Friday-Monday)
Venue: Quezon City Hall (Flagpole area)
      Time: 9:00am – 8:00pm

  15. Hoy SLOWMOTION!

Paano? Kanino?

  18. Extended po ang QCIM race registration and race kit claiming up to Nov 27 sa QC Hall Flagpole.

Nagkakaubusan pa baso at wala man lang saging.

  20. Compare to my previous 21k runs in MOA and BGC, the 21k race track in this event is hard and very challenging!

    Pros:
A very challenging 21k race route (especially in Quezon Ave.)
Race singlet, finisher medal (for all categories) and finisher shirt (for 21k) is awesome!
Ganda ng fireworks, tanaw from Quezon Ave while running!

    Cons:
Air pollution along the race route (as expected)
Not that plenty of hydration sites (May sumisigaw na nga na isang runner na “TUBEEGGG!”)

    Overall Impression:
Im happy and proud that I take part in the 75th Jubilee Anniversary of Quezon City (where I live) and be able to complete their 21k run! I’m part of the history! ^^

    • @#runner03 Agree.

Anong gatorade, saan?!? Parang wala atang nakitang gatorade doon. Grabeng parusa… mas malamig pa yung binebentang softdrinks ni manong pagdating sa finish line.

  22. worst 21K run I have ever joined!!! given the route which very polluted, hydration was the worst !!! every 4K lang ang hydration and just like the other comments, walang baso at walang tubig sa ibang hydration stop. imagine pitsel na binibigay kasi walang baso !!! dito lang ako tumakbo na hindi talaga ako nag enjoy. its bad enough na 30 minutes na nakatayo sa starting line before nag start but the water itself, hindi na nga malamig lasang ewan pa!!! walang ibang drink but wate na may lasa or no water at all. and the finisher shirt are so big kahit extra small ang size. not joining this race again. this is really badly organized and runners were not considered.

    • I strongly agree to Nek. Poor in planning and organizing! The whole thing is is a mess and mismanaged. This is my first and last 21K run for QCIM!!!

Great run very challenging takbo pa!
