I want to try the 21k category but this will be my 1st time if ever.. the longest distance that i’ve ran so far was 10k…any word or advise on how should i start with my training?
Go for longer mileage when training. 10% at a time
And also strengthen your core po. search po kayo ng mga core training/exercises. and dont forget mg carbo loading before the race and be injury free on the race day. :)

Run at least 3x a weak. Do 2 maintenance runs (30-45mins) on weekdays, then do your LSDs on weekends. Gradually increase your mileage (10, 12, and so on). Then taper for 1 week before race day. Basta make sure that you stay safe and injury free come race day. :)
Korek ka dyan Trunner, I learned it the painful way dun sa NB Power Run. Mahirap tumakbong injured sa long distance. Kaya taper a week before the event. :-)

Runrio website for store registration is January 26, pag punta ko ng RUNNR BGC kanina, January 30 at wala pa daw dinadalang mga race kits, usually a day before nila dinidieliver, so January 30 nga ang store registration. Nagmamadali pa naman ako 11am pag punta haha

As usual nagkaubusan na naman ng sizes (XS, S, M) pati FS ganun din. Lagi na lng ganun. Alam naman nilang maliliit lang ang mga Pilipino eh dpat expected na nila yun at damihan nila ang sizes na maliit. Palpak ang Runrio. Ang haba ng pila tapos malalaman mo na lang na wala na plang sizes. Dapat pala sinabihan na lng ang mga nakapila. Ayun nagreklamo lahat.

went to runnr bgc last jan 30 to register for 21k malas at may cut off time,wla ng bib and down ang computer daw kahit prepaid down daw ang computer,balik me daw bukas sure na daw ok ang computer nila,i was thinking talagang waste of time and money , i came from laguna tapos nganga ang nang yari sa akin feeling ko ,naulit ang bangungot ng ru1 last year, ayko ko ng bumalik ng saturday dahil may condura run,talagang don’t expect to much ma complete ang trilogy, talagang d para sa akin ang ru1 last year ng 5k ako para to get involed, ngayon ayaw ko na, d bale try to consider 711 run,pinoy fitness sub1 and nat geo di ba try think what kung tama ang mga decision n gagawin to run. kung d para sa iyo d ok do expect to much para di ma bad trip, alam naman ni runrio kung anong nangyayri conscience na lang nina good luck n lang!!!!!

organizer, i hope you’re reading this.
i have commented on this since last year – ru series 1-3, sofitel manila run, rexona, and now the latest, condura. the problem is, almost always, the finisher’s shirt is much bigger by almost 2 inches (chest width) than the technical shirt / singlet even if they belong to the same size, say LARGE 42K. your generosity in the FS for its extra fabric should have been diverted to our loot bags. lawlaw ang itsura tuloy ng FS. the only possible reason for this is maybe the supplier for the technical shirt is different from the supplier of the FS. Even if it is so, this should not be the case since 1 inch is supposed to be 1 inch whichever you look at it.
race solutions is the technical / finishers shirt provider for all runrio events. please, for the last time, calibrate your measuring tapes or at least use a measuring tape from the same supplier. diba napaka basic lang nito? please ayusin niyo. and mind you, this translates to savings for the FS because you now use lesser fabric than you used to.
this thing should be corrected already come ru1.

my name is not showing on the 21k category list. i registered at SM TOBYS the block on Jan 30 at 4:30pm. down yung website nyo that time so we filled up a piece of paper na binigay ng mga representative nyo. i paid and got my race kit.
