Opss…madami na ang nakaschedule na patakbo sa dec. 2.. 4th T2N 50-K Ultra, QC Intl Marathon, PryceGas International Marathon, and most probably dito din tatapat yung 36th Milo Marathon Finale.

maganda ba yung nike run before e.g. singlet design and fabric, hydration, marshall, bukod dun sa mga usb na hindi na binigay sa mga finishers? dameng run ng december 2, kelangang mag isip mabuti tutal malayo pa eh… :)

Dec 2 falls on a sunday,so basically hindi eto night run… Anyway, 2 pinadala sakin na USB, don’t know how, don’t know why… with that pinamigay ko ung isa sa hindi nabigyan….

Nike Fanboy here, would love to join this, pero ka back-to-back ng “Corregidor Intl. Half-Mary” (CIHM) Dec. 1 We might join the party after the race so Sunday pa uwi. Hmm?

Nice Run this is. An nice shirt too. With another surprise at the finish line? A finisher’s kit that never was!!! Too bad some runners like myself never received theirs. That was really a surprise. :-)
After last year’s run, parang nakakadala ng sumali dito. The baggage counter was chaotic, the worst i have experienced. Sa dami nung mga participants, sana by wave na lang pero pinagsabay ninyo kaya ang gulo. Naging alay lakad and picture event ang nangyari. Plus yung USB…..mas late ang urbanathlon sa inyo pero nauna pa nilang naibigay yung 3 months magazine subscription ko. Yung daanan…alam nyo namang late afternoon ang event pero di kayo naglagay ng ilaw dun sa mga route lalo na yung maraming lubak kaya marami na ang muntik madisgrasya. Ang maganda lang talaga is yung singlet. I don’t remember the hydration pero everything else was below par….especially the baggage….the worst. It was a nightmare.
I’m not saying wala na kayong room for improvement pero after what happened, it’s going to take a lot of marketing effort from your part to ensure runners that it will not happen this year. It was just wow in a bad way.
Pag-iisipan ko muna kung sasali ako dito. Last year’s run chaotic lalo na sa baggage area. Mas nahirapan pa akong kumuha ng bag ko kesa tumakbo. May mga area na walang ilaw. Hopefully, maayos nila ang naging problema last year.

Ang saya tumakbo dito, kaso lang may konting issues… Ung baggage area na di organized, ung USB late dumating/di na dumating, pati route na mejo madilim… Ang konti no?
Buti na lang prepared ako nun, nalaman ko kasi sa registration na hindi per wave at 10km category lang ung run.. Kya todo praktis (kahit 10km lang) para mejo mauna at di makipagsiksikan sa pagkuha ng bag, though umamin ung nasa baggage area na binago nila ung pwesto ng bag, kaya lalong nagulo.. Kaya aun, chaotic talaga ung baggage part para sa mga late finishers.
Ung sa USB naman, lahat ng kilala ko na sumali d2 nareceived nila ung USB, sobrang late nga lang talaga.. halos 2-3mos delayed.. Kaso nga lang ung iba raw di raw narecieve for some reason.. T_T
Tapos dun sa mga area na walang ilaw, ang daming nagreklamo pero napansin kong may mga matatabang utak na nagdala ng portable lights kaya no worries sa para kanila. Sabagay, night run nga naman hindi 100% sisinagan ka ng street lights though obligation ng organizer ung Lights para safety ng mga participants pero iba pa rin talaga ung prepared..
So sana sa next Nike We Run Manila 2012, wala ng ganitong isyu, sana iba naman.. :P

registration should still be done by age and then the run should now be done by age category… :-)

this will be my third time pag nagkataon. . and i can say wala akong naging problema ang im sure magiging successful ulit ito kahit late ang USB at 1gb lang napunta sa akin instead na 2gb :). . .
