Mukhang weird yung route ng 10K. Lahat starting sa may 7th St. Yung 10K ang start nandun banda sa may Mercato/MC Home depot.

WATER & FIRST AID STATIONS

Drinking water will be provided at the finish line and at every 2.5km after the first 5km, Medical aid will be available at certain points along the way and at the finish line.

pinka-harang na run na nasalihan ko…wala man lang km markers?at tubig lang sa hydration stations?…never again…sino ba organizer nito?

this run did not live up to the hype… 1200 is just too much for a 21k race with not enough hydration stations serving only water on a very hot day and no loot bag…

NatGeo as an institution is nice, the objective of the race is good. BUT as to the organizer of this event, i’d rate it very low.

tulad sabi ni allan, walang markers at ang dilim pa dun sa going to heritage. also they should have considered the temperature, hydration points are 2.5 kms apart….at hindi lahat ng water malamig!!! naman naman

half cup ng chocolate drink at medal lng ang nakuha ko pagcross ng finish line.wala palang loot bag.hahaha. medyo nalugi ako sa 1150 ko ah.

booooo no more next time for this event 1150php mahal ng water nyo. medal bangketa lng yung quality. :(

compare it to Earth Run P350 but runners are happy …. here? P1150 hay nako parang pinerahan lang mga runners …

My god, worst run of 2012 so far.

– Hydration stations is so far with each other.
– NO BANANAs, NO ENERGY DRINK, NO LOOT BAG, NO KILOMETER MARKERS.
– The water served is unlabeled, hindi alam kung san galing. Hello, the reg fee is way to high for this kind of error.

this is the worst run event i have ever joined! never again!

worst run ever.. no banana, no freebies, not enough hydration stations… overpriced na nga eh, di pa inayos ng organizers. RUN FOR A COST!

same last year hindi pa rin yan nagbago buti na lang hindi ako nag.reg haaay next year i boycot na natin yan sigurado ganyan pa rin ang diskarte ng mga yan!

1st worst run for 2012!
1. Uber Expensive.
2. Not Enough route guides or cones to separate the runners of different Km. Nagmistulang Divisoria ang Mckinley parang may stampede.
3. Hydration-madami if water but the location is not strategically located.
4. Not enough Marshalls.

I was expecting a lot from this run since it required a high registration fee. Nakakadala tuloy mag-Nat Geo na.

very bad running experience, naawa ako sa kapwa runners ko, napakamahal ang registration, wala man maayos na hydration at marshals, ok lang sana kahit walang freebies….mahiya naman kayo!!!!

to all 10k runners, napansin nyo ba na parang more than 10km yung route? i tracked it using a phone app, and it measured 11kms!

Also, i agree with other runners — this is the worst running event ever. Overpriced na nga, wala man lang gatorade or powerade tapos walang lootbags! akala ko nga naligaw lang yung finishers booth, pero tinanong ko yung organizer wala daw finishers kit. oh my.

Nat Geo Earth Day Run.. Is a BIG FLOP!! My WORST RACE EVER!! Puro tubig, no powerade, konti ng water stn, no distance marker, no banana, no wet sponge, ambigat ng pawis sa damit, at higit sa lahat NO FINISHERS KIT other than the medal na maliit at di naman kagandahan.. In short, P1,150 worth of registration is s0o not WORTH IT!! Badtrip!!

22.2 on my Nike+ for the 21km…

i dont understand why put hydration stations 2 kilometers apart… they can break a few and make it 1-1.5 kms apart…

my last run was the Yakult 10 miler… they did serve only water but they gave out a finisher shirt… all for 450 pesos…

Nat Geo pero pipichugin ang organizer, pano nangyari yon? Kasi may padrino ang organizer sa NatGeo, yun na yon!

@ewancoo @Raphael Inigo really?! 11.02K ang nagregister, that’s why I was wondering coz I ran 10K sa Earth Run last Sunday almost same yung route pero eto nga lang sa columns nag Uturn pero parang sobrang laki ng difference sa PR ko… Thanks for the info.

Ginamit nyo lng ang ” nat geo n nme”, kla q bigatin., pipitsugin pla. first run q p nmn d2 s natgeo,. Grade WORST! Cno b organizer ni2??? Para msbihan ang ibng ksma q n, mgingat s gnitong organizer.” NSistema nyo kmi!!!

hay naku! marami na bad trip na mga runners d2 sa nat geo,
buti na lang at di ako nagparegister,
wala kasi akong pera na pang register d2 sa nat geo,
bakit kamo?
kasi mahal ang reg fee (1,150),
isa pa wala akong kasama sa pagpunta sa BGC,
di ko kasi kilala ang organizer nito eh!

This is my firts run, and I must agree with you guys. I was so disappointed, based on what I heard from my friends when they join fun runs seems far from what I experienced in natgeo. I only asked for a cold water and the guy from water station gave me a warm one stating that “kakalagay lng kasi” damn… you know what time the runners started, how come you did not at least prepared for a cold water?? I’ll definitely not go for this run next time, & start reading comments first, just to make sure I’ll enjoy my next run!

don’t fret runners. this is a way to learn. next time just be careful of the races that you will join. marami nang corporate and political runs ngayon na nagtatake advantage sa sport naten. usuaally ang magaganda talaga is yung runs na sponsored ng sporting brands and yung organized ng runners kasi alam nila needs naten during the run. so think before you register =)

I almost registered for this… Buti pala naudlot… walang pagsisisi…;)

I think the best criteria for us runners in choosing a running event is looking for a credible race organizer – this one never fails.
