@ Rektikano – distances on medals will be engraved IN FRONT, that’s for sure. As to the lace, that depends on costing. Baka may alam kang supplier baka maka-mura tayo?

Sana mas mababa yung registration fee kesa sa Yakult Run. Mamimili kasi ang runners sa dalawang yun. Yung isa, finisher’s shirt. Kayo, medal. Both have 5, 10 and 16 km routes…

Tutal, yung logo sa taas yung dating Logo ng DLSU, yun na lang gamitin nyo sa singlet para mukha ring vintage…

Basta hindi pang graduation ang lace, okay na mga runners doon. Green and white na lace ang suggestion ko. =)

Regarding 21K, Greentennial prioritizes SAFETY OF RUNNERS. Please remember April 1 is ALREADY SUMMER and IT IS ALREADY SCORCHING HOT as early as 7 in the morning.

HEAT STROKE is a major concern.

However, we can start EARLY like 430am BUT the concern shifts to the poorly lit roads which becomes safety hazards to runners.

Anyway, balitaan ko ulit kayo.

Nice run with a cause. I will join the event. Yes, the reg fee is very reasonable compare to others.

Another worthwhile race from the organizers that brought us Rescue Run for Sendong. But the “Medals for all” part ensures that the slots are not nearly enough. Ate Katrina pakisabi sa kanila to prepare to add more slots hehe

Mas gusto ko na La Salle nakalagay sa run shirt ko kesa bote ng produkto.

Pinoy fitness is a peace-loving site, kung di maganda sasabihin mo wag ka na lang mag post. Hindi ka naman pinipilit kung saan mo gusto tumakbo. Pareho ko natakbuhan ang Yakult at Greentennial organized events. Ang masasabi ko lang worth ang binayad ko sa Greentennial runs.

MABUHAY ang DLSU GS ’82 (30th na pala ninyo mga kuya hehe)!

Servinio from The Last Boys of Taft is definitely going to run the longest distance of this race.

Last Year na miss ko ang La Salle Greentinial Run and the Half Marathon looking forward to this running event Animo!!!!

i’ll definitely join this run! some of my most memorable and favorite runs are by Greentennial so I definitely won’t pass this run up! Not to mention, I’m sure to get value for the registration fee that I pay. Can’t wait to register! :D

@red bull: i think you’ve mistaken the runs organized by greentennial to the run organized by the DLSU running club last december 4. the two are in no way connected/affiliated and having participated in runs by greentennial, i assure you, greentennial takes care of its runners so don’t fret, there WILL be more than ample hydration during a greentennial run.

i don’t expect you to take the word (more so, the opinion) of one person but go ahead and ask around PF. i’d bet that their answers would probably be similar to mine.

@red bull: yes, @mr.sleepyhead is correct. This race will be organized by greentennial, the one who organized the Rescue Run last december and the Greentennial Half-Marathon. Search through these events to see the reviews :)

Bukod sa Greentennial Half Marathon at Rescue Run, ano pang events ang na- organize ng Greentennial? Wala pa kaming nasasalihan kaya di namin alam kung organized nga. Yung Rizal Run, nagpunta kami. Kung Greentennial nag organize nun, organized nga sila. Kasi ang daming hydrations at showers eh, hahaha…

Di na mauurong to for sure. Marami nang race events na ganito ang eksena. Goldilocks Fun Run vs Intramuros Fun Run; tsaka yung AXN run vs Rizal Run. Mamimili talaga ang runners kung DLS Green and white run vs Yakult run. Fellow runners. Pili na lang kayo, free finisher’s shirt or free medal na may vintage logo. =)Parehas lang naman na 16 km ang pinakamalayo…

@say as it is: hahahaha i agree! that’s one of the things na ok sa runs organized by greentennial. it’s sure to be a well-organized run without burning a hole in our pockets. and you won’t feel short-changed at all kasi other than the (usual) finisher’s medals, ang daming kulit ng greentennial runs that make it fun (costume contests, strategically placed signs to jump or look back for a photographer :)))

i did not expect na sa Rescue Run na 150 php na reg fee eh umuulan ng Pocari Sweat. That was a run organized for Sendong victims and we ran at McKinley that time. Sobrang dami ng Pocari pauwi na kami pinapaubos pa.
You can sense a feeling of community in their runs. Kung baga sa artista, eto yung type na hindi mahilig sa press release pero nakakadeliver.

Guys, No 21K muna for this run. Don’t worry next race may 21K na. SAFETY FIRST. Mainit na by April. Ngayon pa nga lang February ay Super Init na.

The focus and exciting part here is the BEST MEDAL EVER FOR A 10 MILER. The best medal in its category. A COLLECTOR’S ITEM indeed.

Get that medal – It’s NOW or NEVER. Hindi na mauulit ito.
