trip ko sumali dto kasi kelangan may support ang mga athletes… kahit wala pang gold medal sa olympics ok lang… malay ba naman natin this is our moment… hehehehehe

SUMMIT Water Run for Pinoy Glory 2012!

Parang gusto ko rin itong salihan kaso parang mahal masyado 10k – 700 pesos. konting dagdag na lang 21k na.

expensive ah! next day will be PSE Bull run. mas mura ng p150. may medal pa.
sana maraming makasali dito.

To answer your questions:

@Renz and glock19: Thank you for your comments. This run is a fundraiser so we pegged the prices that way. The proceeds will go to the Olympic and Paralympic athletes themselves through their own associations (Philippine Olympians Association and Philippine Sports Association for the Differently-Abled). Kailangan po ng ating mga atleta ng karagdagang pondo lalo na ang Paralympic athletes. May mga Paralympians tayo na dating able-bodied athletes, pero dahil sa kasamaang-palad gaya ng aksidente ay naging differently-abled. Nandun pa rin ang fighting spirit nila at gusto nilang patuloy na magbigay ng karangalan sa ating bansa. Sana po ay suportahan natin sila.

@Runnox: tama si caviterunner, gusto po naming mas malaki ang maibigay sa mga atleta kaya sa ngayon ay shirts ang ibibigay sa mga 21K finishers. Pero hindi pa kami makapagsalita ng tapos tungkol dito. We’ll keep you posted for any developments.

Nag register na kami kahapon sa chris megamall.21kms. Yung race kit at singlet ipapadala daw by courier. Kung hindi maideliver bago mag January 7, sa race day (on site) na raw mismo ang claiming.

Finisher’s shirt will fade and worn-out in time pero ang Finisher’s Medal will last longer and could be your entrance key if you want to go back in time in 10 or 15 years from now until someone have it kilo in a junk shop. CLARIFICATION ON EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD:

Please note that only the registration period has been extended. This extension does not apply to our free delivery service of race kits within NCR. This means that those who will register after January 1 cannot avail of the free race kit delivery service.

For those who will register at R.O.X. between January 2 to 6, race kits will be already be available in-store so you will be able to receive your kits as you register.

For those who will register online or at Chris Sports between January 2 to 5, you may claim your race kits at the event proper on January 7 between 4am to 6am.

Yup, the event was well-handled. Good job, Shadowfax! Sayang nga lang na walang time chips sa race. I did notice some marshals taking note of some finishers’ bib numbers. Probably the top 5 or 10 finishers per category? Will they be posting the results?
