The 2011 Yakult 10-Miler Race is already scheduled on March 27, 2011 to be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex in Manila. Here are the details.

Registration Fee is PHP 300.00. Registration starts February 28, 2011.
Includes singlets, Yakult T-shirts, certificate of completion and Yakult health drink.

Registration Outlets:
Mizuno at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, SM Megamall, and Bonifacio High Street in Global City.

MANILA—About 2,500 runners are expected to answer the starter’s gun when the 22nd Annual Yakult 10-Miler fires off on March 27 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex in Manila.

Defending champions Rene Herrera and Marecil Maquilan head the list of top runners and a horde of upcoming long-distance racers vying in the 22nd edition of the country’s premier 10-mile race that also finishes at the CCP.
Listing starts today at Mizuno outlets at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, SM Megamall, and Bonifacio High Street in Global City.

Registration fee is P300. Deadline for listing is March 21.

Participants will receive singlets, and all finishers will get Yakult T-shirts, certificate of completion and Yakult health drink.

Trophies and merchandise will also be disputed in the 5K fun run and a 3K kiddies race, according to Michael Ong, manager for sales and planning of Yakult Philippines.

The top three finishers in both the men’s and women’s 10-miler will win cash prizes.

Herrera and Maquilan won with a time of 53:23.3.21 and 1:05.14, respectively, last year.

  3. Pwede pala magkaron ng Run sa halagang P300 eh, bakit may mga nagmamagandang kamunduhan dyan na mega mahal ang reg fee. Di naman maganda ang feedback na nririnig ko sa mga tumakbo last year s kanila.

  14. i registered yesterday at mizuno bgc, red/white combination singlet ang pinili ko, maganda yung fabric nya, yung red/green not that good, u can’t even read the yakult logo from afar…

  17. dapat lahat ng mamahaling races ay may kasabay ng tulad nito, takbong pang masa. Dito na tayo sa Yakult 10 miler. Good move by the organizer. Mabuhay ang YAKULT!

  18. P300 for 16k dito sa yakult… samantalang sa kabila P950 for 15k! Dito na ko sa yakult less than 1/3 lang ang reg fee compared dun sa kasabay na run… :)

  27. wow… first run ko to na mababa ang registration fee… d tulad ng iba na ginagawang hanapbuhay ang patakbo… wish ko lang ibaba din nung iba ung fee para mas maraming tumangkilik na enthusiast…

  28. wala siguro sa kalahati ang kinikita ng Yakult kumpara dun sa mataas maningil ng patakbo, pero hindi ganid, suwapang, sakim ang organizer nito. (sorry sa mao-offend).

  30. I will join… last time i joined a 10 mile run is with Condura 2011. But this one is 350% cheaper than my previous 10miler run..=)

  38. ang saya sana sumali kaso the last time i ran at ccp (c/o pgh run), problema ko ang toilet. kukonti lang ang provided and i can’t stand the smell. other than that, wala na. pero as a runner, i can’t run with a full bladder… hay…

  40. wE as enthusiast run for this kind of fun run because:

    1. its a run for a cost…
    2. Run further in an endurance challenge.
    3. singlet? maybe.. but for sure if we can afford to pay for other fun run with high reg..fee …we can afford to buy our own shirt.. ^_^

  44. Bket nga kaya nasa reg.form lang yung map nila? At medyo matigas yung singlet, parang gawa sa “Scotch Bright” Hahaha, JOKE! What do you expect eh mura nga diba? Kesa naman sa mga parang “modus” na super mahal na event! Dito ka na sa Yakult, wala ka pang isisipin kung nakinabang ba talaga yung beneficiary O saan ba napunta yung fund, or what. OK ka ba tyan?! ^__^

  59. first time kong tumakbo nung february gusto ko ulit tumakbo. gusto ko sumali sa Yakult at mura sya compared sa una kong tinakbuha at mas malapit pa samin kasi wala akong makasama.. gusto ko neto! :D

    from CCP, turn right at Roxas Blvd. diretso hanggang MIA Road, U turn then balik, bale 2 flyovers, (Buendia Flyover and Edsa Flyover)

  63. Pwede bang detach o pilasin na agad at ibulsa na lang yung barcode and baggage# stub from the race bib? Kasi parang madali siyang matanggal sa pagtakbo natin, lalo na pag nabasa ng pawis eh. Sa 16k pa naman ako kasali. Pwede kaya yun?

  87. @jobz: Yeah Unfortunately i didnt make it na makapagregister sa 10miler. enwei needs more training to do pa naman 5k is good for me tho :D

  94. mga sir may race map po ba? if ever kasi 1st run ko po to. gus2 ko pong i test run kng kakayanin ko po para ndi nakakahiya sa ibang runners. thanks po.

  97. this is really nice and very affordable! i am not sure yet if i can finish a 10miler run, pang-10kms pa lang ang distance capacity ko. but i guess, wala namang bawal if i combine walk and run basta matapos lang. kudos sa organizers! my children drink yakult everyday!!!
