The Tabulhik Trail Runners together with the Botolan Tourism Office brings you the first trail running event in Mt. Pinatubo via Botolan Trail which is the
MT. PINATUBO 50K TRAIL ULTRAMARATHON 2019 (MP50).
Mt. Pinatubo became world known volcano when it erupted in 1991. Its eruption brought great disaster to the different parts of the country, most especially to the province of Zambales. The aftermath of the said eruption was terrible. However, as the years go by, the Zambaleños recovered and the disastrous event brought a very beautiful attraction which lies in the Municipality of Botolan which is the true home of Mt. Pinatubo. Now, Botolan emerge as the adventure capital of the Province of Zambales owing it to the Mt. Pinatubo which is one of the favorite destinations of tourists, hikers, mountaineers as well as nature lovers.
This event gives the participants to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and sand castle along the route. But the most special about this event is the opportunity to have a more closer look at the crater of Mt. Pinatubo.
Aside from these sceneries, they will also have a chance to see the Zambales mountain range and the Bucao river with a vast amount of lahar which streamed down from Mt. Pinatubo when it erupted in 1991.
The main purpose of this event is to promote the tourism of Botolan, Zambales more particularly the Mt. Pinatubo via Botolan trail and Camp Kainomayan.

b. Write your full name, age, gender, contact number, shirt size, contact person and number to be called in case of emergency, qualifying race and team name to your deposit slip.
c. Scan and email your deposit slip to [email protected]. Please indicate on the subject: MP50 50K or MP50 15K
Kindly bring the original copy of your deposit slip together with the medical certificate and a signed waiver upon claiming your race bib before the race
