November 2010, Manila, Philippines – die-hard comic book lovers are presented with the newest shoe to snag as Warner Bros. and DC Comics team up with adidas and Dwight Howard with the all-new TS Beast Commander Superman.
The new must-have merchandise for DC comic books and adidas lovers could expect a collection of products carrying the Superman logo, which is also NBA star Dwight Howard’s on-court nickname. Inspired by the super hero’s headquarters “The Fortress of Solitude,” this TS Beast Commander’s colors tie back to what the fortress has looked like in the comics and movies. Superman details have been embedded in several parts of the shoe. The upper is made with a white patent leather with a unique holographic and rainbow-like material that becomes visible when viewed in certain light. The iconic adidas three stripes and underlay of the upper are in Vision Blue. The laces’ colors are inspired from the blue shade used in the classic Superman Costume. The heroic icon logo appears on its back heel just above the adidas Basketball logo and on the tongue, just above a Dwight Howard Silver #12. The back heel also calls out Superman’s headquarters, the Fortress of Solitude. Form the superman logo as you place its two outsoles together.
The TS Beast Commander Superman: Fortress of Solitude will be available exclusively at Titan Barbershop in Forbeswood, Mckinley, Fort Bonifacio by the end of November.
