The first ever ultimate trail run challenge in Taal Volcano Island. Be part of this historical event on May 24, 2014. The race will start in Tourism Center Volcano Island Talisay, Batangas. The route will be mostly Sand, Rocks, Ruts & Volcanic ash.
The event is part of the LAKANTAL Festival of Talisay and it promises to be an important addition to the local trail run scene in the country giving runners the opportunity to run historical routes.

base sa experience ko sa 1st ultra ko organized by Prince.. wala akong naexperience na problema o di lang ako nag expect ng kung ano. Nag enjoy ako sa patakbo nya..
1,500 – 1,700 reg fee???
Ok na siguro un, kasi madami naman inclusions eh, boat fare, tourism fees.Kami nga nung pumunta sa taal volcano bangka pa lang 2.5k na agad, then may mga fees pa bukod,wala pa pagkain.At least kung 1,700 man ung kasama na lahat maiikot mo pa ung buong isla.Also I learned na protected area ung bulkan and lake and it’s not everyday na makakatakbo tayo sa active volcano. It is definitely a privilege. Ok na din at sulit ung reg fee.

Have gone around taal volcano riding a horse. The route is not for the noobies,if the sun hits you, its like a desert very dry little cover. Please ask or check d route first. Think. But to see the volcano is a plus,just done fall inside, hehehe

We have a 6 hour cut off time. Enough time to run and still take pictures while on the trail :)

good day po, kung pede po sana mag set up ng shuttle service with various pick up points in QC (and Makati) similar sa ginagawa ng organizers ng Trail runs sa Tanay po? Problema kasi kung magko-commute ang runners then hahanap pa ng lodging etc…
sir, may mga hydration station ba along the route? Ano ang estimated interval nila, o much better kung mabigyan kami ng location o map… thanks…
Alam ko walang route paikot ng taal kundi yung climb sa summit overlooking tha main crater ang boat-ride ulit papunta sa Daang-kastila papunta nman sa crater, ibig sabihin ba nito, binutasan nila yung konting kagubatan ng Taal Island para sa race na to? Kasi wlang 25km kahit pagsamahin pa ang 2 trails. Pero kung idudugtong, makakabuo ng ng ganung distance for the event?
with all due respect sir,HINDI binutasan ang kagubatan ng Bulkan para gumawa ng trail. Do your research first before you speak or comment, for all you know is just superficial info. You know nothing about Taal.
