To celebrate its 1000th store in the Philippines, 7-Eleven is holding its first ever mountain bike race on February 23, 2014 in the trails of San Mateo, Rizal, with assembly at Timberland Heights. In keeping with the spirit of its previous sporting events such as Tour 700 and Run 1000, the objective of Trail 1000 is a large, well-organized race on a scenic, single-loop course that is fun to ride but not always accessible.
The closed course is approximately 30km long, with 700m of climbing, and consists of mostly single-track (including 7km of new or otherwise inaccessible trails), some fire road, and two road climbs. The route was chosen to reward both climbing ability and bike handling skills.
To accommodate the expected large number of riders, wave starts will be used, with groups of approximately 100 riders being released at set intervals, with fastest waves released first. Waves will close when full, so participants are encouraged to register early.

To those who plan to support 7-Eleven Trail to be held in Rizal be forewarned about the negative comments related to the recent concluded 7-Eleven Run held along CAVITEx. I am not a whiner but rather an unsolicited adviser.

Congratulations to the organizer/s of the 7-11 Trail 1000. It’s a successful event. May mga nadisgrasya pero maaagap ang mga marshalls at rescuers. I’ve ran the 7-11 Run 1000 event and I would say that this MTB event is way better. Wantusawa ang Hydration stuff like Powerade, Pocari Sweat, bottled water, bananas, etc.
Oi sir agree ako diyan, ok ung sistema nila ng pagpapakawala ng wave, naayos na nila ung mga gusot last events, grabe solve na solve din kami sa foods at hydrations, di na magkasya sa bag ko ung pocari, powerade gatorade pati tubig, meron pang sun block at shampoo pati saging (y)
