Congratulations to all the 15,000 finishers of the recently concluded Nike We Run Manila 10K 2013 at Marikina Sports Complex! How was your run!?
Some observations before you guys leave a comment: Traffic and Parking was indeed a challenge, specially to those who came in late (like us), we have to park all the way at Riverbanks Mall and walk about 2.5KM to the race start, we should have really taken the advise of Coach Rio to come really early seriously, upside though is that after we walk back after the race, traffic was a breeze going back to Ortigas.
The new Marikina race route was refreshing, different from what we are so used to, and running along houses and residents of Marikina gave a different feel to the race. We think that being able to execute this route is already a big challenge in itself, a 10K race in the heart of Marikina, kudos to the RunRio team for doing a great job.
We know that there will be a lot of mixed emotions amongst our readers regarding this race. Some good, some not so good. Everyone is free to share their feedback below, also please share your constructive comments and suggestions as well as ideas on how we can improve the race for next year. I’m sure the organizers will surely appreciate your feedback.

I am sure dadami sasali next year mag target sila ng 20k runners actually dami pa na disappoint ksi aga mg close mg dadag sila ng slot total laki naman kikitain nila dito, at dun sa malawak na daan like sa CAVITEX at madaling punta or roxas blvd then mas ok na morning RUN para di abala sa mga dumadaan sasakyan Pero Winner talaga freebies ng NIKE bawi kana eh :) next year po wag na sana sa marikina.

panu d magagalit eh cnarado nila lahat ng daan nagkalate late ako catering pa man din ako ni hndi nga cnabi sa marikina yan sana inannounce yan at isa pa commonsense naman may fun run bang 4pm db umaga ang funrun?

Super agree, lamo yun naka red carpet tas bright lights. like everyone’s looking at you. plus my bonus pang chicosci on the side. bangis men!
bakit inaccurate yung race results at kulang kulang. andaming walang pangalan including mine. tas my buddy’s time is different from my another friend who was with her from start to finish, anlaki nung gap. Can someone from the organizing team enlighten everyone about this. or better yet release an official statement saying that race results aren’t final as of yet.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK: New route…new event place…madali nakapag-claim ng finisher kit…safe ang “baggage counter”…
NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: Hirap puntahan ang lugar…hirap kumuha ng masasakyan pauwi, walang ibang option kundi mga jeep na pa-CUBAO lang (kung di ka marunong makipag-agawan, aabutin ka ng syam-syam kakahintay)…may portion sa route na “alay-lakad” lang ang peg, kasi sobrang sikip ng daan…sobrang siksikan papasok sa gym para mag-deposit and mag-claim ng bag…

Do you know whom to address our concerns regarding the results? Several names (including mine and my buddy’s) do not appear in the results. There are also buddy mismatches in the results. I’ve been sending e-mails to Runrio (which organized the event), but the results have not been corrected as of this time. Thanks.
