Rotary International along with some partners, have drastically reduced polio cases in the Philippines by 99%. End Polio Now campaign is a global initiative of the Rotary Foundation and it is noteworthy to mention that Rotarians around the world have vaccinated 2 billion children in 122 countries. It is our goal to totally eliminate this crippling disease afflicting the world and of our countrymen.
On October 13, 2013, the Rotary Club of Vigan is holding the “End Polio Now” Fun Run to raise funds to make our world polio-free. The fun run will feature 10K, 5K and 3K runs. The assembly time shall be 4:30 A.M. and it will start and end at the Rotary Club of Vigan building, Bantay, Ilocos Sur.
