An Announcement from Bike King
To all 2013 Active Health Duathlon participants,
Destruction wrought by typhoon Maring has damaged the bridge along SCTEX which forms part of the duathlon’s 50Km bike leg.
This unfortunate development has compelled us to shorten the bike course to 40kms. Consequently, the new distance for the Active Health Duathlon will be 6Km Run- 40Km Bike- 4Km Run.

went to biking and told me to regs online,how can we regs online the event is not yet up? called 2ndwind they can receive the payments but we need to regs online. does online regs open already? how about the onsite regs?called gstop no forms yet given by biking.

question po (sa naka sali last year or mga nakapunta na sa clark): malapit lang ba ang holiday inn sa race venue? isasama ko family ko and i plan sa HI na din kami mag check in overnight since dun din naman ang claiming ng race kit. iniisip ko mag-bike from HI to venue… para yun na din warm up ko before gunstart hehe
yup. you can do that bro. the race venue is near the yokohama factory area. its the intersection prior to SM Clark coming from the main gate. Just book early para may makuha ka room.

Wtf? Bakit bilis naman nagclose registratio??? Just came from 2nd wind ortigas at one day tegistration lng daw. Galing pa nman ako mindanao and went straight to register. Sana sinabi na online na lang lahat registration para dna umaasa magregister sa affiliate shops!!

I’ve given up on this race. I tried to register last Aug7. Finished my registration six minutes after it opened ng 12nn. And I’m still waitlisted pa?!! That meant in less than 5 minutes the available slots for the regulars were taken agad???…When I reviewed the start list and waitlisted. There were more than 225 waitlisted. When I went to Bike King they told me that almost a 100 made it to the regular registration…in less than 5 minutes?????!!! Damn!!..Got me to think that it is a sign…bakit ako magpumilit dito samantala mayron naman Phil Dua Series is Popo Nagtalon on Sept. 28…the dua gods must be telling me to just join PhilDua..walang hassle pa sa registration…which is what I just did…Now, if the waitlist gets moving, sasama pa rin ako sa Active Dua (for sentimental reasons…it was the first Dua I joined last year that got me going to compete in dua races)…Anyway, good luck na lang sa nakapasok…and see you sa PhilDUA 2!!!…

I was also on the waitlist. Received an email 2 days ago that I can already pay for my registration. Went to bike king yesterday and paid for it. I’m finally in. I was told they allowed waitlist 1 to 100 IN already. May chance pa guys!!!
