  5. Kudos BDO and Run Without Limits very organized event. Halos yata ng 10k runners may medal. Yung pepsodent malapit na ma-expire kaya gamitin agad.

  6. I enjoy the run though its my first time to join. kht bitin ako s 5k.. Sana pla 10k or 21k. Kaso lhat ata ng 10k meron medal kht sbi nila is top 500 lng. Over na sa medal eh. But overall ok yung run. Tnx bdo

  8. Much improved from last year – I ran the 10K and I am glad I gave this event a second chance. Thanks for listening to the inputs from last year.

    There is still room for improvement which would include:
    1) the last 2 miles of the route is terribly congested. Runners/walkers are at very different paces and it really makes it unsafe and difficult to finish fast. This problem also existed in the Run United 1 event so it is not a unique problem to this BDO race.
    2)It was easy to miss the turn when the 10K turned left and split from the 5K. The sign was there but it was terribly crowded and easy to miss the sign. Perhaps another sign 100 meters ahead of the curve would help. Or perhaps just try to keep the routes identical near the finish and adjust the U-Turn to pick up the required distance.

    I enjoyed the run. I hope all other runners also enjoyed the event.

  13. I enjoyed the run itself. I guess it’s a good thing na konti lang yung nag register sa 21k? Hindi gaanong ma-traffic and hindi naubusan ng hydration. Maganda yung route. Parang pinagsamang Philhealth tsaka RU1. Naging congested sa last mile or so dahil dun nagkikita kita yung 3/5/10/21km.

    Medyo nanghinayang lang ako sa binayad ko kasi sobrang laki ng ng fee tapos konti lang na-uwi ko na freebies. Almost the same price as RU1 so I was expecting na babawi sila sa freebies dahil walang finisher shirt.

  14. It was well organized. next time i hope you can add hydration station and gives out banana. it’s my first time to run with without limits event.. i give it 8 out of 10.. looking forward for your future races. BDO and without limits

  15. Generally an organized run. For the 21K, it would have been better if they offered water sponges even before the halfway mark. The marshals should have also asked the mass of “walkers” to just occupy one lane so as not to obstruct the 21K runners. Also, there was not enough sign on the presence of portalets.

    First of all I would like to thank you personally for participating in the BDO Race for Life 2013. We know that there are still many improvements to be made and we take note of all your comments. We are glad that most participants enjoyed the run.

    We hope that you can join more of our upcoming events not just running but triathlon events too.

Yung route daming liko ok lang sana kung hindi kami niligaw ng marshal mali yung tinurong way samin pati sa likod namin nadamay. wala man lang pumigil na marshal na mali na pla yung way. laki ng panghihinayang ko kasi nagtraining ako ng 10k para lang sa race na to, yun pa nangyari. pasok sana sa BDO category. 10.8k sa gps ko yung tinakbo ko. yung time ko para lang ako ngatraining ulit. wala tuloy akong PR…badtrip!!!!

  28. ok n sana, kaso wlang finisher shirt, d katulad ng ibang run s amount n P900, meron k ng fin shirt..sana next time gawan nila ng paraan..

  31. I enjoyed this fun run! The only comment I have is san i- ensure ng organizers next run that lootbags are complete with the items na makukuha lahat ng finishers. Overall, thumbs up! :)

  32. Compared to last year, vastly improved! The 21k run was enjoyable. I hope meron pang pics of the run. Well done, very well done, Without Limits and Proactive. Kudos to all organizers!

    • Thanks for the race results. Was my first 21K and my daughter’s and her friend’s first 10K. I noticed though that our names were not reflected opposite our bib numbers. How can we possibly get our names on the list? Would be great to show our children’s children later. Thanks

  35. I’m sure more participants of the concluded BDO RFL 2013 will give positive comments. Sa mga sumubok at nagbigay ng another chance for this event, kasama na ako dun, e hindi tayo nagkamali, sa mga nakibasa at nagpadala sa negative comments ng iba at hindi nag join, ok lang naman, ganun talaga, pero next year sali na kayo ha, malamang mas malaking improvement na ang mangyayari at malay natin baka kumpleto na, with finisher’s shirt na din.

    Good job BDO Foundation, Without Limits, Proactive, members of the organizing committee, marshals, The Running host and his partner, na hindi bumaba ng stage kahit tirik na ang araw during the awarding ceremony, dun din sa mga nag assist sa awarding, I hope di kayo na sunburn, hehehe. Looking forward for BDOF RFL 2014 with more improvements and sana po make sure yung laman ng loot bags ay hindi halatang minadali ang paglalagay dahil there are loot bags na mas marami pa laman nung lower category than the higher categories, pero much better po, wala na lang discrimination, pare-parehong tumakbo naman po ang lahat kaya sana same na lang ang laman ng lahat ng loot bags, anyway bigay naman po ng sponsors yun, bago ko po malimutan, thank you din po sa lahat ng nagsponsor sa event, sana po next year ulit at madagdagan pa kayo, and hopefully one of you will sponsor the finisher shirt. Salamat po ulit for the good event.

    To Without Limits,
    eto lang po napansin ko, I participated in the 21k category, 1) sana po merong timing mat sa uturn ng tambo, crucial uturn po yung area, 2) yung hydration po nasa taas ng bangketa, medyo awkward ang pwesto kasi yun asphalted area halos pantay na sa banketa and meron kanal or mababa yung area in between the road and nung bangketa, two or three hydration area po ata yun, 3) sa area po going to tambo sana lagyan natin ng ilaw kasi po medyo madilim dun and the road is not good, it may cause injury sa runners, 4) although konti ang runners sa 21k, ayos lang yung hydration, pero baka pwede po next time dagdagan natin ng isa or dalawa pang table para medyo mahaba, kasi po there are hydration area na parang 2tables lang na pinagdikit.

    sa 10k category po, 1) medyo marami namali ng liko dun sa area ng buendia, others turn left pero dapat mag cross lang sila, maybe marshals are also confused but we need to be careful about it, 2) wala din pong timing mat sa uturn or sa halfway mark, if I remember right, sa mga race events normally merong timing mat and crucial uturns or halfway mark ng 10k.

    sa 5k and 3k understandable naman po na sa start and finish lang ang timing mat.

    lastly, as mentioned earlier, sana po magawaan na ng paraan yung clogging ng runners going to the finish line that we normally experienced pag nagsabay-sabay na ang finishers ng lahat ng category, maybe we can separate walkers from runners kahit dun lang po sa area going to the finish line, although nangyayari din ito sa international events but hopefully you can manage it next time, maybe a megaphone may help para sabihan lang po na give way sa mga tumatakbo, pasensya na po sa mga walkers, I know bayad din po kayo and you have the right to share the road, pakiusap lang naman po yung sa akin, pagbigyan po natin maka PR/PB yung mga naghahabol ng oras nila.

    • haba naman @runnerdaw, but well said brod. you got the point, dagdag lang ako, baka pwede merong banana station ang 21k, saka yung sponge station sana 2 areas, lalo na pag summer months ang run event, kahit madaling araw sobrang init, pati 10k lagyan na din kung pwede. yun lang po,

    • tama ka!! isa na ako sa mga naligaw at nagpasimula ng lahat. Nagtanung ako sa marshal kung san ang way ng 10k, tinuro ako sa left kaya dun ang way ko yun pla straight lang pla yun. very disappointed ako kasi im running for medal sa BDO category. 3rd place lang tuloy ako almost 800 meters din ang tinakbo namin ng naligaw kmi based on my GPS po.

      tama ka din walang timing mat o nagbibigay man lang ng ribbon sa u-turn ng 10k kaya kung gugustuhin mangdaya magagawa mo.

      tama ka ulit!!! hindi pare parehas ang laman ng lootbags. dapat equal lahat since nagbayad naman tayo ng tama sa registration po di ba.

    • :D salamat po. Pasensya na po kung hindi kami sumasagot sa negative feedback before the run. 90% percent po kasi doon ay tungkol sa previous event which we have no connection with kaya wala po talaga rin kaming masasabi. Mas gusto po naming sumagot through our actions rather than words. Mahirap po ang mangako nang matatamis na salita sa kapwa na hindi naman kayang ibigay sa huli.

  50. I had a great time running in bdo race for life! Organized and it was planned well by the without limits team! Next year withoutlimits sana uli organizer! It was way fun running with xian lim!

  53. i was registered in megamall pero bat di naka reflect name ko sa 5k results,bib number ko lang nandun…bib number ko po ay 51217

  57. sir senxa na kunti kasi mga pics sa 21k keo lang inasahan ko makakuha ng pics namin kaso meon nga malabo nman nsa likod pa sir ang dami nyong photographers sa venue anu po yun display? karamihan ng kinunan mga 10k eh nagintay ako ng weeks sa 18 albums isa lang nakita ko malabo pa ayay! sir sana dna maulit po kasi kunti na nga lang kaming tumakbo ng 21k wla pang 400 tpos kunti pa pics namin…. disappointed tuloy mga kasma ko……

Photographers in the venue are VOLUNTEERS and we are very grateful for their effort to wake up early, share their talent and give us good shots.

  58. I just checked the race result early today lang po. Apparently, my name wasn’t there just only my race bib (#10420) visible po sa result. How come.? since I personally went to BDO Makati just to register and galing pa po ako ng Quezon City that time. Disappointed lang po kasi naexcite po ako nung makita kong may race result na yung BDO Run. Actually, may sinabay din po akong i-register pero naging visible naman po yung name niya.

    But overall po, I had Fun….. FUN RUN.. :) till next run po.. :)

  61. yong comment ko re my missing name last april 12 under bib# 51217 rank #129 ay di rin naman naaksyunan…it’s useless.
