Last year’s run: 21k distance was actually 16k only. Mali-mali yung mga marshalls pagturo ng dadaanan ng mga runners. No energy drinks along the route. You run along other vehicles going back to marikina sports center dahil hindi nagsara kahit isang lane para sa runners. Wala din nag aassist para umiwas man lang sa mga tumtakbo yung mga sasakyan. At walang timer pati race result. One of the worst run for me last year next to summit run last december

hnd pa kayo nasanay.. publicity is everything hehehehe
agree with the marathon, u wont put it unless may 42k. or pasok na ba yan under HM? oh well anyways..

Di mo talaga maiiwasan na may halong pulitika pang ganitong campaign period. Haaay…!

MARIKINA 2ND HALF MARATHON n lang tanggalin n yung DEL RUN ang bigat isuot ng singlet pag may pangalan p ng politiko.
To those who are upset by the singlet design but wants to join let me suggest a simple solution.
Do not wear the singlet.
Binayaran din kasi ng runners yung singlet. Kung walang medal or shirt, yun lang ang remembrance mo sa event. =)

PURE EPAL!!!! The word “Marathon” on the poster shows the mayor does not have running in his vocabulary. This is just an event to force his face into the participants . Show us more creativity when doing things like these! This is an example of how LOW the running craze can go

I do not care about the poster or singlet. I care about the route, mileage and advocacies. But since a previous participant confirmed the failed race support then count me out.

Halatang poster din ito last year tingnan nyo ang date april 22, 2012. Looks like organizer of this event is not doing his job properly. Alam kaya ito ni Mayor Del?

nagpalit na ng poster, inalis ang MUKHA NG MAYOR nila, sana ang title MARIKINA HALF-MARATHON… lagyan nyo ng assembly time at gunstart.. mahirap tumakbo ng di mo alam ang oras ng takbo.. 5AM ang program malamang pero yung actual run anong oras…
kasabay ito ng bike for health na dadaan sa Sport Center.. kaya malamang ma cancel ito
salamat sa mga feedback nyo ndismaya na nga ako sa takbo dzmm ayoko na mdsmaya ulit, sa first choice Nat Geo na ako

Yes merong singlet.. and maganda yung quality…
I just finished the run. I [think maybe] the 10K might be just a little bit longer than 10K based on my run time. I would like to measure it some day to confirm.
