Manila goes color crazy as KangaROOS and Proactive Sports invites you to the happiest run to hit the Metro, Color Manila Run 2013! Get ready to race through clouds and crowds of Yellow, Blue, Pink, Green, and Purple and dash to the finish line, powder-splattered in rainbow colors.

The Color Manila Run 2013 is the first of its kind running event in the country where runners are showered with colored powder in different stations, eventually producing throngs of happy human canvas at the finish line. Be cheered by an army of cheerleaders in Magic Yellow station, enjoy the beats with the drum line at the Ocean Blue area, party like a rock star at the Funky Pink mosh pit, move and groove with fertility dancers at the Evo-Green spot, and get hot with poi dancers at the Fiery Purple stop over.

How SAFE are the COLORS? The colors that’s going to be used for this event are edible and completely safe, actually, it was used to bake the cookies that was part of the giveaway from the press launch, they are quite yummy.

  20. Nakapag reg na kami sa Urban Athletics sa Greenbelt for 5K but yung Bib na binigay is for 3K naubusan na daw ng Bib para sa 5K. Wala bang conflict yun? Baka di kami patakbuhin sa 5K.

    Registration and claiming of kits is extended until January 4, 2012. We will only be closed on January 1 but for the rest of the dates Dec 31, Jan 2, 3, 4 our kiosks are all open for registration and claiming of kits. Get your kits now while supplies last.

    We give pouch and shades for the first 5000 runners who will claim their kit. Tomorrow po at BGC Runner we will distributing kits for those who have not claimed yet. And then we are also selling bib and medal only for new registrants at 500 pesos only.

    There will be registration onsite but bib and medal only for 500 pesos. But this is very dependent on our stocks. I encourage you to got to Runner BGC from 12nn onwards to take a chance to register. Thanks!

    Shades and pouches are only given to the first 5000 runners who will claim their kits. I encourage you to drop by tomorrow at BGC Runner to take your chance if there are still shades and pouches from our booth there. Thank you!

    We will have registration on the event day but it will only be 500 for bib and medal and subject to availability but if we sold out all our bibs tomorrow at 500 then we cannot have registration on Sunday anymore. I suggest you visit runner bgc from 12nn onwards and avail of that 500 bib and medal kits only. I hope to see you at the event. God bless!

  46. this is by far the most disorganized event that I joined..race bib that has a handwritten “5K” marking, had to go back twice to the booth to get complete race kit but ended up with no shades and pouch and was told that they run out of stocks..wtf! then to compensate, i was given 2 certificates that i can’t use at the same time.

  47. this is the first event that had a lot of rules/procedure changes made during the reg period:

    1. original distances: 1.5/3/5k only..then it was only later that they announced that there is 10K. runners have to go back to the booths to be able to change distance

    2. was told during first inquiry that there will be 2 shirts.one to be usedfor running and the other one will be a finisher’s shirt but come registration day, only one shirt was assured. reg outlet attendant can’t answer if there will be a finisher’s shirt then heard again later that there will be finisher’s. which is which?

    3. when we registered, we were told that claiming will be made on dec 15 at bgs runner. there was no mention whatsoever that only first 5000 claimants will be given the kit. it’s only now when they started running out of stocks that they are telling that. If they informed that from the start, i wouldn’t have bothered going back twice to the booths to try getting one. clear instruction is all i needed. and just wondering, why base the prioritization on claiming time, why didn’t you prioritize based on the day of registration? if this was the rule earlier, i wouldn’t have bothered doing the reg early.
