Ang wierd nito walang medal sa short distance dati meron first 100 ata, nakakuha pa ko ngayn sa 15k lng tapos nag mahal ng almost 30%

Just wondering if this will be a well organized run since Eventking will be handling this. I just remembered what happened to NatGeo Earth Day Run 2012.
And compared last year it has a sudden increase on the registration fee.
Is this like last years costume run?

I visited ROX in high street yesterday and based on the conversation I had with the rep. it seems there isn’t much to expect on the 2012 Adobo run since he doesn’t know anything about the run. I asked him if it would be like last year costume run or if there would be a party afterwards, what are the prizes, etc. he just said “ordinaryong takbo gaya ng sa iba, tatakbo ka lang”. so if I’m going to compare this with last year’s event there is not much to look forward to. What are the changes or what are we gonna look forward to?

last year festive ang actvs nila. top 500 5k and 10k may medal ang finishers. very organize ang run. maganda ang ambiance. masaya ang mga runners. maraming both na nakahilira. Pag di maganda and organizing maybe sa sunday run na sked na lang ako sasali.

how come this is expensive, ano kaya ang included sa race kit or finisher’s kit that makes it costs this much?

eventking also handled condura marathon, alaska ironman, xterra, at 5150. the success of the race doesn’t depend solely on the organizer but also on the side of the client as well. minsan ok ang sponsor tapos sablay ang organizer. minsan sablay ang sponsor pero ok ang organizer
from what i know, ang kawalan ng sports drink sa natgeo was on the part of the sponsor (natgeo) and eventking wasn’t handling that. natgeo wasn’t able to secure a partner that will provide the sports drink. i hope this clarifies the matter

tama ka nga, normal naman talaga na ang kalat while the race is ongoing. kita naman natin during RU3 at Rexona. ang daming kalat kahit ang laki laki na ng trash bins

i think the only one can answer this question is adobo magazine itself. all concepts, rates, and the manner how the race will be organized all are the design and decision of adobo magazine as the hands-on owner of the race

sana nga eh. im keeping my fingers crossed as well. as of now, ung longest distance lang ang me finishers medal. 10km lang din ako last year at buti eh naabutan ako ng medal, ehhehehe =)
the shortcoming i remembered from last year’s event was the distance being short. i hope they were able to rectify it =)

i like the singlet… hindi masyadong sando tulad nung sa adidas. but sizing is small so get the next bigger size…

di masyado maganda singlet…parang di worth it ang binayad ko…
Every year tumataas ng rates nila pero every year binabarat nila mga suppliers ng event organizers. Why don’t they just stick to same rates as last year, anyway panay hinge naman ng organizers ng malaking discount sa mga water, lights, audio,stage,generator, video suppliers etc. nila. People might think that this a business run and not fun run anymore.
i hv d same sentiments as giggles & tigasin…to organizers: natatangal po ang dikit na yellow 3 sa singlet…. medyo nagtipid ata sa tela, short ang length ng singlet nyo po? if nxt size nmn, alanganin sa armfit & chest.. fyi lng po… PEACE :)
I am not sure pero tingin ko recycle yung shirt from last year’s run… tapos naubos medal sa 5K pero wala naman kami masyadong nakitang nakamedal… ano yun?
