Last Wednesday, I had the delightful opportunity to join a special shoe trial event at the Asics store in Bonifacio Global City, alongside some fellow running enthusiasts. The event was a gathering spot for members from prominent running groups like EZ Run Club and WeKenRun, all buzzing with anticipation to lace up the new Magic Speed™ 4.

The Atmosphere

The air was thick with excitement as runners prepared to take their first strides in the Magic Speed™ 4. Asics had organized the event meticulously, ensuring a variety of sizes and styles were available for participants to try. Unfortunately for me, my size wasn’t in stock, so I had to content myself with observing the action from the sidelines—eagerly awaiting the next batch set to arrive in October.

After the shoe trial, the feedback from those who slipped into the Magic Speed™ 4 was overwhelmingly positive. Runners highlighted the shoe’s eye-catching colorway and advanced features. Energized Cushioning: The integration of FF BLAST™ PLUS and FF TURBO™ cushioning systems ensures a responsive ride, giving runners extra energy at toe-off. An additional 5mm of cushioning softens each footstrike, enhancing overall comfort.
Propulsion: Thanks to the full-length carbon plate, runners experience advanced forward propulsion, which also aids in maintaining stability.
Lightweight Comfort: The breathable mesh upper offers flexibility and a snug fit, adapting seamlessly to the runner’s foot and movements, providing unrestrictive and comfortable wear.
