Trail running in Samal Island, conquering the highest peak, Puting bato, had been a habit with trail runners in Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon every October.
The beautiful Island Garden City of Samal is the perfect place to experience all of these. Runners will challenge themselves as they conquer the trails and experience the beauty of nature. The race will take runners to the beautiful island which is known for its mountain ranges and bodies of water surrounding it. Participants will be brought to roads that are less traveled. There are high points wherein they will be enticed with the scenic view of the land and sea. Their travel will vary as they will descend to sea level and ascend to mountainous areas. They will be captivated by the sheer beauty of the place.
