Can exercise make you better in bed? Science says YES!

We all know that working out is good for us – it helps keep the weight off, it minimizes the risk of heart disease, it keeps us mentally alert – the benefits can go on and on. But did you know that there’s an exercise perk most people don’t really appreciate: It improves bedroom performance.

How does exercise do this? Let us count the ways.

It keeps blood pumping.

Exercise improves blood circulation throughout the body. For the ladies, increased blood flow heightens sensitivity, which leads to more intense orgasms. For the guys, increased blood flow means longer erections. It’s a win-win situation!

It improves flexibility.

Activities like yoga and pilates increases flexibility – which allows you to experiment with more adventurous positions, wink, wink.

It builds endurance.

If long runs help build stamina for your 42km run, we don’t see why it won’t help you have marathon sessions in the bedroom, too.

It stabilizes hormones.

The heavier we are, the more estrogen we produce – and higher estrogen has been proven to lower arousal in both men and women. Approximately 30 to 45 minutes of exercise daily will lower estrogen levels.

It releases Pheromones.

Pheromes – that mysterious chemical our bodies release to stimulate attraction – are intensified when we sweat. This is probably why you find that guy who regularly hits the treadmill next to you really hot and attractive.

It’s a huge confidence boost.

People who exercise feel more confident about themselves and their bodies – and nothing can be sexier than a person exuding confidence. You’ll be more open to exploring different ways to physically communicate and bond with your partner.

So what are you waiting for!? Time to hit the Gym or go our for a run!
