Nike will try to Break the SUB2 Marathon Today!
Today (May 6, PH time) a new running history could be made, as most of us tries to break the SUB2 Half-Marathon race time, Nike is embarking on a quest to break the SUB-2 hour FULL Marathon.
Nike athletes, Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia, Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya, and Zersenay Tadese of Eritrea will try to run their fastest marathon today on a 2.4K loop around portions of the Autodromo Nazionale track in Monza, Italy, home to Formula 1’s Italian Grand Prix at exactly 11:15AM Philippine time.
Though the race will be closed to the public, it will be covered live using Nike’s live stream on Facebook.
