Under Armour Opens 7th Branch in Robinsons Magnolia
Good news for sports enthusiasts around New Manila: Under Armour (UA) just opened another branch at Robinsons Magnolia last February 25, 2017. It’s their seventh branch in the country after the other ones located at High Street, Uptown, Megamall, Greenbelt, Trinoma, and Ayala Center Cebu.
Aside from the sought-after iconic shirts that they have, Under Armour is giving you more reasons to get excited for their grand opening by releasing their newest collection, Threadborne. It is their latest technology that creates apparels with ultra thin and durable fabric which keeps users cool and dry. It is lightweight and has a very soft texture giving maximum comfort that is perfect for intense workouts.
Under Armour also greeted their store launch with a promotion of their competition called “Test of Will”. It started just last year and is currently on their second installment this 2017. Test of Will is a 4-minute circuit challenge to test the endurance, agility, and strength of contestants around Southeast Asia. Participating countries will hold the qualifying round in their respective country and will send the top male and female contenders for the final round in Kuala Lumpur where they battle it out to win SGD 2,500.00 cash and other prizes. For the Philippines, the qualifying round will be held at Glorietta on March 25 & 26, 2017.

So as part of the promotion for Test of Will, Under Armour held a run-through of the program to let the people and interested contestants see what the actual contest would be like. Renowned brand ambassadors MMA fighter AJ Matthews and trainer Kat Geronimo-Garcia hosted the event and made sure everyone had a great time despite the challenges. During the awarding, Under Armour also welcomed their newest ambassador, weightlifter Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz. Diaz is truly a perfect embodiment of the brand as she continues to bring pride to our country.
