After we posted photos of Eric Cray and Kayla Richardson winning the Men and women’s 100m race at the 2015 Sea Games in Singapore, the photo immediately became viral because people immediately took notice about the Philippine flag being sewn upside down
Today it has been reported that Clarence V. Fajardo, owner of World Champion Trading the supplier of our Philippine athletes’ uniform sent a letter addressed to Philippine Olympic Committee president Jose “Peping” Cojuangco expressing their apology for the mistake.
Fajardo mentioned that, “This mistake was solely our fault and was clearly caused by human error on our part” and “It was not our intention to create such an awkward situation for the team and for you. We are now working overtime to have these misprinted items replaced as quickly as possible.”
What do you think about this? Do you think it was solely the suppliers mistake? Share your thoughts!
