This fun run event supports END POLIO NOW, a humanitarian program of Rotary International. Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2 billion children against polio in 122 countries. There are only three countries where the wild poliovirus has never been stopped: Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan. For as little as $0.60, a child can be protected against this crippling disease for life. This is our chance to make history by wiping out globally the second human disease ever.
