Pauline Lopez, 19 years old stunner gave the Philippines another Gold Medal when she won first place in Taekwondo at the 28th SEA Games held in Singapore. She started training in Taekwondo at an early age of 9, and last 2013 she also got a the Gold Medal at the Asian Youth Games.
One unique thing about Pauline is that she maintains zero contact with her family every time she competes internationally.
“We have been doing it and it worked well,” said Lopez “I know very well that the support and love is there.”
After the SEA Games Lopez is now back on track to start her college education, reports says that she’s still deciding on taking offers from schools in both the US and the Philippines. We do hope she stays here :)
