Specialized’s Aaron Gwin is an American professional downhill mountain biker from Morongo Valley, California. Gwin snapped his bike chain as he rode out the starting gate at the recent Leogang Downhill World Cup, he raced the entire downhill course without the ability to pedal, but despite the cycling mishap, not only did he make it down the entire course, he took the win. Wow!

“First pedal out of the gate, the chain snapped,” Gwin said. “What can you do? I’ve never had that happen. Luckily, there’s not much pedaling… I just tried to put my head down and charge as hard as I could.”
