Here’s something to cap off the races for the year 2014. Run United HP Recovery run is happening on December 14, 2014 at Bonifacio Global City.

The Run United HP Recovery Run is a non-competitive run designed to help progressive runners embrace the value of recovery and how its proper application can help them establish future personal records. All categories will have a start and finish at the 34th St. The Fort, BGC.

All finishers will learn more about the proper application of various recovery regimens at the Enervon HP Recovery Village. Each activity has been developed in partnership with the University of Santo Tomas, College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Sports Science and Physical Therapy Departments.

Notes:
– Exclusive for 2014 Run United finishers.
– Limited slots only. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis, and may end earlier than the announced deadline. Race slots may run out before November 30, 2014.
– Participants are encouraged to wear any of their 2014 RU singlet/finisher shirt, no singlet will be provided.
– Runner participants who register at the stores will receive their race bib with D-tag upon purchase. A Valid ID must be presented upon registration.
– Those who will be registering for their friends must buy a prepaid card. The race bib with d-tag will be delivered on or before December 7, 2014.
– Finishers’ shirt sample sizes will be available for fitting at the registration centers.
– All finishers will receive a limited edition HP Recovery Tech Shirt.
– D-Tag will be provided to every participant to get the runner’s accurate time result and
must be surrendered to claim the finisher’s item after the race.
– No BIB, No D-TAG, NO RACE.

    • Ganon ba pananaw modahil hindi naubos ang slot? bakit, same loots, singlet, finishier shirt, medal rin ba ng RUPM ang ibibigay dito para sa mga runners? haha!

  11. The colors of the poster are mostly BROWN. RACE to recover from what?

    The recovery run for participant’s in last October’s marathon and fun run should have been done within a a day or two after finishing.

    Recover goodwill from many disgruntled runners due to inefficient registration systems, late delivery of race kits, inconvenience of buying prepaid cards?

    Recover financial losses from this year’s trilogy and other fun runs and multi-sport races?

    Recover the trust of trilogy loyalists who were not given any recognition through a party or awards night?

    Recover one’s poor treatment of the legitimate media by a lousy PR Department?

    The writing on the wall is clear. Expect a lot of serious and competitive runners to shun the 2015 trilogy unless drastic reforms are initiated.

    Anyone remember the fun run organized for only PHP 16.00? If only they can hold this fun run for FREE, especially to all 2014 trilogy loyalists who completed the longest distances (21-32-42).

    It is easy and cheap to earn one’s trust but it is far more expensive to regain it.

  15. hmmm why may ganitong run bigla lol… ung bang mga singlet, medal and FS e irerecycle ulit para sulit sila sa gastos hehe… but lets give them the benifit of the doubt… let’s see kung anung design lalabas for this race… pero i doubt dudumugin pa to coz its kinda late and xmas is just around the corner na medyo busy na mga runners… or maybe lalabas ksi mga bonus and 13th month hehe… well still its up to us kung sasali tayo dito… #justsayin :D

  16. Paki check naman Kung alin ang tamqng schedule ng Fun Run Sabi ng Takbo.ph December 15, 2014 ang Sabi ng Pinoyfitness December 14. 2014 alin ba ang tamang schedule kc alam ko walang Fun Run ng Monday usually every Sunday at Saturday lang….????????

  20. Maybe it’s more of a recovery for RunRio than for the runners. Pangbawi nila ba. I agree with Mr. Servinio’s comments. I’m starting to think that a RunRio run is not what it used to be. Nagsasawa na rin ang tao sa same routes year in, year out.

    One observation dito sa forum is pag Runrio ang event ang dami agad comments samantalang there are a lot of new runs na up to now zero pa din. It only shows popular pa din ang runs nila. The question is binabasa ba ng Runrio management or any staff ang mga comments/suggestions/hinaing natin? Parang ni minsan yata wala ako nabasa na response from them.

    • Answer is no, they don’t read comments like these.

      I had a very bad experience with Run United last 2012 so I sent them an e-mail and posted on their site what I had experienced during the event. Wala man lang sumagot sakin, so I posted in Unilab Active Health’s Facebook page, and you know what they did? Blinock ako. They don’t value their runners, who like me, spend thousands to participate and support their event. Siguro feeling nila hindi ako kawalan sa kanila kasi nag-iisa lang ako. I wanted to boycott every event Runrio had after that. This year though, I completed the Run United Series, only because a friend of mine wanted me to run with him and paid for my registration even though I refused. Well, I ended up doing my first full marathon in RUPM, which was a great experience.

      The thing is, this event, itong recovery run na’to is non-sense. By now I have recovered and can run another marathon pa nga if I wanted to, I wanted to join here actually kasi birthday ko din ang araw na’to but seeing how expensive tapos ganun lang ung makukuha ko (wala pang singlet pala) it’s not worth it. If this run is exclusive only to Run United finishers only e di dapat free na’to, pa-consuelo na ng Unilab at Runrio sa mga taong nagbuwis buhay para lang tumakbo sa mga event especially those who ran 21-32-42kms. It’s something that they can look forward to kumbaga, “perks” for completing the whole series. It’s again another marketing ploy. Pera-pera na naman. Sali na lang tayo sa mas magandang event. Or save the money for some other runs in the future na mas worth it. Daming runs next year, I suggest out of town, cheap ung registration fees usually, when you add your expenses sa pamasahe almost or close to that registration fee lang din ang gagastusin, nakarating ka pa sa ibang lugar kesa ung walang kamatayang BGC or MOA ung route.

      Tingnan niyo na lang ang kemamahal na registration fees ng runs nila.

      C’mon people, wake up! Wala ng credibility ang Run United or Runrio for that matter.

  23. Apparently details on this are already out on ULAH’s website. The registration fees are practically the same with the Trilogy except for some exclusions on the race kits.

    – The run is exclusive for 2014 Run United Finishers
    – No singlet will be provided, and runners are encouraged to use singlets/Fshirts from the Trilogy
    – No Medal
    – An HP techshirt/Fshirt will be given post race.

    • Oo nga. Wala rin medal. For online registration, you pay additional 200 for the delivery of bib and d-tag only and web admin fee. So, ano yong Recovery sa bayad natin, kung same cost but scaled-down benefits naman. Considering also that I completed the trilogy, shouldn’t there be a kind of loyalty discount/freebies. I’m having second thoughts here.

  25. Wow. 950 for a finisher shirt and no medal is a big NO. Sana ibalik na lang ung Pinoy Fitness run for change. Race Bib at medal for only 350 pesos only. Singlet is any Pinoy fitness shirt. Sana merong ganun. Sana. Sana lang Sir Jeff. Sana….. Sana.

  26. Ang ganda ng finisher’s shirt. Walang sinabi ang Nike Tech Shirt at New Balance atech Shirt. Kaya pala tinawag na excusive HP Recovery Tech Shirt.

    Guys, if you participated in last year’s Active Health Runner’s Summit it’s just the same as before with a lot of freebies and most importantly the LEARNINGS that you will get on the lectures of the speakers after the run. This is worth paying for.

  29. This event should have been free to those who completed the Trilogy. Ma-feel naman ng mga tumakbo na pinahalagahan sila ng company for their continued patronage. Loyalty rewards ika nga.

  35. Di man lang pinost yung itsura ng technical shirt. Paano maeencourage yung mga runners? Worth it ba sa Php 950 eh wala na ngang singlet at medal. Puro negative pa yung mga comment sa blog na to.

  37. guys, meron na silang na post ng finisher shirt, black and gray yung shirt, nasa website ng UNILAB ACTIVE HEALTH, maganda yung finisher shirt.

  39. Dami reklamo pero mag re-register din naman! Kung puro kayo reklamo, wag na sumali dito–yun lang yon! Para kayong si Binay, daming palusot! :)

  48. This is marketing. The product they are endorsing is Enervon. Kaso ang nareretain sa kin HP as in Hewlett Packard. Okay nga naman, after mo sumali sa mga RU trilogy, sali ka din dito para masabi mo nakumpleto mo. The price is okay for me, basta maayos. The tech shirt looks nice. The venue, accessible for me. Will join this race kung may matira pa sa christmas money ko

  51. Hi! It’s 1:15pm, way over the 12nn registration start time. According to Runnr BGC, they haven’t even been notified that they will be a registration venue. Either PinoyFitness.Com or Run Rio screwed up on the posted registration schedule. Even the contact numbers provided here are not working. So, whose fault is this? PF or Run Rio? This is very irritating. You are wasting people’s time and messing up everyone’s schedule.

      • @pinoyfitness thanks for helping out. It was really disappointing. They were very late and very disorganized. The Runnr BGC registration did not provide sample shirts as mentioned here. What happens if the shirt size I got won’t fit me? Another frustrating thing was their contact information. Please don’t post their contact information if they will only divert or bar incoming calls. Thank s!

    Ang mahal ng race kit parang ganun din sa RU Trilogy, wala pang medal saka singlet.. Naguguluhan tuloy ako king AFFINITEA BROWN RACE BA OR RU RECOVERY RUN. Huhu

  56. Kahit anu pa sabihin its still a recovery for this years losses dahil hindi naman sold out ang trilogy this year. So Tri United na ang priority dahil meron sila Awards Night? Panu naman ung mga loyal runners ng Run United?

  57. One thing have been consistent with runrio is that they never reply to the runner’s questions and concerns.
    Salamat pinoy fitness for trying to answer but I feel that the organizer needs to be doing it.
    Runners may shun your future runs because there is this nagging feeling that you don’t care at all and it is all about profit.
    For the record, I completed this year’s trilogy pero pass muna ako dito.

  59. I registered online nun december 11 pa hanggang ngayon wala pa racekit namin. I emailed twice na and no answer. Tpos when i tried calling their landlines, naka call barring daw or forwarding calls nila. Bakit ganun? Hoax ba to?

  61. sa nkita nman kasi kayong loyal eh kelangan pbng irecognize? sa dami ng ibang event you people made it a point to run their events complete 21-32-42 , tapos ngayon recognition hanap nyo eh ayan o nirerecognize lahat kayo sa recovery run..,i did run the 2013 half marathon nila and it was great and had enough rupm i tried others kasi napapansin ko pag ulit- ulit yung mga event taon taon sumasama ang patakbo nila tingnan nyo NB pati ateneo NSP at yung iba iniigsihan ang distance nila paikot ikot para mkatipid ng marshalls at iba pang resources, you cannot take away the business part in any running event sa panahong ito., piliin nlng mbuti ang sasalihan ninyo ang dami naman nila at kung nkita nyo you were short changed forget it isipin nlng mhirap nman talaga mag organize ang importante nkatakbo kayo sa inakala nyong tamang distance na angkop sa pansarili mong kakayahan kaya ka sumali regardless of freebees etc.., gaano mang kasama ang isang event the moment we registered ay ibig sabihin we already conformed to their terms , tama po ba ako?fyi nag iisa ako pag sumasali sa running event malayo man o malapit kasi gusto ko

    I’ve been a regular registrant in all Runrio events for 4 years now. I regularly make my registration online ever since it was introduced but sad to say this is the first time it happened.
