Last October 13, 2013, the biggest, most successful and most memorable Zumba Party in celebration of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month dubbed as “I Can Dance, I Can Serve” was mounted. The project was in partnership with ICanServe Foundation, the country’s leading breast cancer advocacy group. The event was attended by more than 150 Zumba enthusiasts from all over Metro Manila and neighboring provinces like Laguna and Cavite, and was able to raise funds in support of the foundation’s projects and advocacy.
Due to its huge success, another event “I Can Dance, I Can Serve” Year 2 shall take place on October 19, 2014 at Ayala Fairview Terraces in Quezon City. The Zumba Party will run from 4PM-6PM. There will also be talks about Fitness and Health, and a forum where ICanServe volunteers can discuss their advocacy and ongoing projects.
