The wait is over for the Premier Marathon event in the country, Condura Skyway Marathon, one of the biggest and most anticipated marathon events of the Philippines, goes back to the starting line, for its seventh edition, on Sunday, 1 February 2015 in Filinvest City, Alabang.

Organized by Condura Skyway Marathon’s Founder and Chief Organizing Officer, Ton Concepcion, and its running ambassador, Patrick Concepcion. For Credit Card Payments:
1. Register online at www.conduramarathon.com
2. Pay via the PayPal gateway using your credit card. A PhP200 processing fee will be charged for all credit card registrants. A confirmation email will be sent out as proof of successful registration.
3. For local runners, your race kit will be delivered to your registered delivery address from 03 November 2014 to 30 November 2014. Ensure your availability to receive your race kit.
For international runners, race kit redemption will be from 28 January 2015 to 31 January 2015. Details to be announced.

For Prepaid card:
1. Buy your CSM 2015 Prepaid Card at the nearest participating Asics Shop. Prepaid cards will be sold only on cash-basis.
2. Register online at www.conduramarathon.com. Enter the unique code found at the back of your prepaid card when prompted. A confirmation email will be sent out as proof of successful registration.
3. Claim your race kit from the Asics shop where you bought your prepaid card starting 15 January to 25 January 2015. When claiming, present a print-out of the confirmation email. Strictly no print-out, no race kit.

  22. May iba pa bang nakapansin na ang laki ng tinaas ng registration fee compared last year. Halos Php 150 for the 42K and hindi pa kasama yung Php 200 for the CC users. And Runrio-style prepaid card na din yung registration pag In-store. Matutuwa ang mga scalpers nyan kasi mas madaling mag-hoard at makabenta. tsk3. Also, ang plain masyado ng design ng tech shirt compared last year na design ng Team Manila. Nagmahal na, tinipid pa?

    • From PhP1,850 nung 2013… now it’s PhP2,000 for a Full Mary. Reasonable naman ang pagtaas.
      Since they’ll be closing the Skyway for more than 6 hours pambawi ng loss of income. Tumataas din malamang ang cost for marshals, security aids, portalets; malamang pati costs ng finisher’s medals and shirts.
      Nakaka-inspire yung sinabi dun sa previous comment: “Medyo mahal, pero isipin nalang natin that we can send a kid to school per registration.”
      If 2013 is for mangroves, this time time mas karapat dapat na tumulong thru our registration kasi mga batang di makapag-aral naman ang magbe-benefit. Again, let’s try to look na lang at the bigger picture.
      Mas worthy na salihan kasi merong ’cause’, for me. Nakatakbo ka na at Nakatulong ka pa.
      On the other hand, yun nga lang: nung 2013 on-site registration lang talaga so automatic din agad ang pag-claim ng race kits infront of Asics Greenbelt.
      The best thing to do nalang siguro ngayon to avoid paying extra cost for shipping&handling eh bumili ng prepaid card directly sa Asics Store tapos intay na lang ng race kit claiming date. hehehe

    • Marami makikita sa Skyway, katulad ng………………………………ng……………………………ng………………………………sige pass ka na lang.

    • ang catch kasi dito eh isang beses ka lang legal na makakatakbo sa skyway. pwede ka tumakbo sa BGC, MOA, etc kahit kelan mo gusto. Pero sa skyway, isang beses lang sa isang taon. gusto mo malaman kung ano makikita sa skyway? sumakay ka ng bus papuntang alabang.

  26. na-monopolize na ng Asics ang reg ng Condura. May promo pa rin ba na free ang reg if you buy an Asics shoe? Others will opt to buy an Asics shoe to get free reg.

Galing me kahapon asics trinoma wala pa advice sa kanila pero sabi nung store manager doon mga november pa yung onsite… And di sure kung may promo pa na buy shoes free kit… Grabe nagbabago at nagiging complicated ang pag reg basta hinawakan na ng runrio dati naman sa asics lang makapagreg ka na at makuha na kit

  30. Why your money is not worth spending in the CSM’s 2015 edition compared to the 2013 edition:

    1. Much more expensive. – 42k was Php 1850 last 2013 and Php 2000 this coming 2015. 21k was Php 1350 last 2013 and Php 1700 this coming 2015. 10k price is still the same at Php 1000. 6k was Php 850 last 2013 and Php 900 this coming 2015. Service fees for online registrants increased from Php 150 to 200.

    2. Not much change in the package. – Sa ganito kamahal na run, we should all expect na medyo maramdaman natin yung worth ng ibinayad natin. I think nothing will be changed masyado sa treatment sa mga runners along the route. Sa package mo lang talaga mararamdaman halos yung changes. For 42k last 2013, eto yung mga included: medal, donation, finisher’s shirt, bananas, summit 100plus, photos, recovery center. For 42k this coming 2015: same as before pero wala na yung bananas, summit, 100plus, photos, and recovery center. Pero hindi pa rin natin alam na baka kasama naman yun and hindi lang nabanggit sa mga posts.

    3. Change in Registration System for the In-store Registrants – naging Runrio style na Prepaid Card system. Hassle. Sobra. You have to fall in line to get the card and come back on a specified date to fall in line again and claim your race kit. Much worse is that magiging way ito ng mga scalpers para mag-hoard until such time na may kumagat na mga late registrants. Medyo frequent ang pagtakbo ko sa mga Runrio events kaya lang I really hate the Prepaid System.

    4. Technical Shirt? – What happened to the Team Manila-designed technical shirts? Sobrang nakakatuwa yung technical shirt nung 2013. Maganda. Masarap suotin and hanggang ngayon gamit ko pa rin sa mga runs ko. Bakit naging plain ngayong 2015 edition? Pag sinuot mo na yung bib sa shirt eh para ng dalawang bib yung suot mo kasi mukhang bib yung design sa harap. Nasaan yung logo ng Condura Skyway Marathon? Mas malaki pa yung logo ng Asics tapos yung Condura Skyway Marathon eh text lang? Increase sa price tapos decrease sa quality and design ng shirt?

    “technical shirt sizes are based on RunRio’s standard sizes”. So, if ganun yung case, chance is supplier ni Rio ang gagawa ng shirts? I dont like Runrio shirts and singlets. Really. Ewan ko lang sa iba. Para kasing low quality. Makati sa balat and mainit.

    5. Only one charity to support. – Wala na yung pledges. Aside from the planting of Mangroves eh meron pang 4 charities to support. For the 2015 edition, nabawasan yung charity na pwedeng matulungan.

    So far, yun lang. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so respect lang po. If you find it informative, thats good. If you are offended, you have the freedom to speak up kasi nasa democratic country naman tayo. Ang sakin lang eh respect lang po sa post. This is based lang naman sa observations and opinion ko regarding dun. Salamat ng madami sa pag unawa.

    • These are my exact sentiments, though I want to run 42km sa CSM parang it’s not really worth it.. sa dami ng mga runs na nasalihan ko, I know madami pa jan na mas mura pa and you get the same stuff and really for 2k malamang UM na ung distance na masasalihan mo. I’m having second thoughts on joining, but it’s been on my bucket list to run a full mary sa skyway bilang isa ito sa mga primerang marathon event sa bansa. I just don’t understand how it can be so expensive now compared to before. Minsan naiisip ko na rin dahil ba sa sobrang uso na ng mga ‘fun runs’ kaya sobrang commercialize na din sila? Nawala na ung essence ng mga ganitong events dahil nakikita na nila ung profitability kasi daming sumasali.

    • Very well said Nicolo. Ok lang sana kung talagang mapupunta ba s “cause”. Ang masakit baka bulsa muna ang mauna bago ang kapakanan ng iba. Well, it’s business that matters. Di din nman maccc ang ibang runners na mag join kahit mahal kaya tuloy ang nangyayari eh patuloy sa pagtaas ng reg fees ang maraming RO kc nga may kumakagat. Kumbaga, may malaking bahagi ang runners sa pagto-tolerate kung bakit taas ng taas ang reg. fees. Nagiging trend na kc grabeee….Paano n lang un gustong sumali but can’t afford :-(
      Still it’s our own choice and personal decision. Keep running.

  35. Registration will be free if you opt to buy the regular price – until size last asics shoe. Also as i remeber you will not be part of the initial wave if you took it. And let’s not forget runrio was also part of the team who organized the last condura.

Excited naman masyado ang aga ng registration, baka maya pag dating ng claiming mali mali at kulang kulang ung shirt sizes.. daming cons kesa sa pros ng prepaid registration system, they should think a million times about that…just saying… Php2000 is really too much, sa Caliraya nga Php900 e you get to run 34km na, so my question is, how come some organizers can put up a running event with that little amount and still be successful, samantalang tong mga run na ang lalaki at ang bibigatin ng sponsor siya pa tong ang mamahal! weird..

    If it’s the donation they’re reasoning about, I think I’ll just make a donation whenever I want to directly to the foundation, kesa ganitong maglalabas ka ng pera sobrang hassle pa on our part (example for in-store registrations, falling in a long line to buy the prepaid card and then having to register online and then coming back on a later date to pick up the kit). Don’t get me wrong, it’s good that we are able to help while doing what we love (that is, running) but I guess these corporate people are exploiting our love for the sport by coming up with these charity run events with hefty registration fees.So, fellow runners, let’s be wise in choosing which event to join, no matter how much you can afford it, think about it first. Madami pa jang mga runs na mas mura but you get the same stuff in return. If you really want to be charitable, join a foundation instead be physically active with the foundation meaning you go out when they have missions and help, lend them your time and your knowledge or skill, you don’t have to shell out money in these runs to be able to help others.

  39. ung.ibang nagbibigay ng REVIeW-saludo ako sa inyo! sa totoo lang isa ito sa pinakagusto kong takbuhan pero syempre hindi maiaalis na may factor ung presyo maliban na lamang kung talagang elite ka or mapera ka? sana man lang eh nagbigay sila ng.diskwento sa.mga early bird or promo? habang tumatagal eh nagiging kumplikado na ang registration na dapat.eh sisiw lang-mas maganda siguro kung may option prepaid card or cash straight then register agad? spider “we always.have a choice” hehehe
    kanya-kanya tayo ng opinyon…..hanggat di nakasasama sa ating kapwa eh ok lang…. hehehe….. hintayin ko promo ng asic (?) hehehe

  46. Eversince sumasali ako sa Condura kahit mahal pinag iipunan ko kc talaga namang maganda at maayos patakbo nila. Opinion din lang po.

  50. The finisher shirt should be the tech shirt minus the print on the back. I hope they change the design of the current tech shirt. Pwde naman ung design ng medal ang ilagay sa tech shirt. Just my thoughts..

  52. Not against anyone here. Halos lahat ng bilihin tumataas presyo lalo na presyo ng gas, bayad sa tollgate, presyo ng pamasahe, pyesa ng sasakyan. Syempre tataas din presyo ng mga reg fee. Just saying

  56. Well ako gusto ko tumakbo ng marathon dito. Plano ko talaga. Pero sa katagalan iniisip ko baka mag10k na lang ako. Im not that financially capable to register for a full mary. Oo condura skyway at masarap tumakbo sa langit pero sa halagang 2k makakapagregister nako ng dalawang 21krunrio. Or makakanili nako ng running shoes. Or compression sleeves.

    • Wala pong in store registration.
      Makakabili ka lang ng prepaid card sa mga Asics stores. Tapos ienter mo yung code na nasa prepaid card sa Condura website. So technically online pa rin po siya.

  65. When they cancelled the 2014 Condura Marathon, I joined the a replacement race in a province last January. Here is a list of my major and needed expenses:

    PHP 1,000.00 – prepaid race card (42.195K)
    PHP 700.00 – 24 hours motel room stay (12:00PM-12:00PM)
    PHP 500.00 – bus and jeep fares
    PHP 300.00 – meals and snacks and others
    priceless – the experience of running in a province

    TOTAL = PHP 2,500.00

    • Nice sir. i live in the province. I use to joing 10 – 12 races a year back then…now just 1-2 HMs a year…quality training na lang habol ko po.

Guys dami pang oras para makaipon kayo… ganon po talaga ang panahon ngayon lahat tumataas..kung sa tingin nyo po ay lugi kayo..madami pa pong mas murang event..kung saan po kayo makakaluwag dun po kayo.pangit po yung napipilitan lang kahit mahal.. its your choice. if ayaw nyo sumali dito sa condura marathon.. e wag nyo naman siraan at balatengahin.. be positive and always look at the bright side para di po kayo manghinayang sa ibabayad nyo. para sakin matagal ko itong inabangan at pinag handaan .. kaya di ako manghihinayang sa registration fee.. Just saying..GOD BLESS TO YOU’LLE…

Mahal talaga un reg kung sa mahal.. wala tyo magagawa dun, wala nmn pumipilit satin n sumali dto, so kung kaya ng budget go run on this event, much better kung igrab un promo ng asics n buy shoes reg free.. sulit n un kasi mganda nmn ang quality ng shoes ng asics nkalibre ka pa 1700 or 2000 sa reg… kung hindi nmn kaya ng budget go for more affordable run n kasabay nito..

    • hanggang may available na slot. As of 11:30 this morning may available pa na 21K at 42K pati ang 10 & 6k. walang pila (dahil siguro sa mahal) sa Asics Nuvali kami nakabili ng prepaid cards. kung bibili ka ng shoes na 5T pataas ang price libre ang prepaid card (mamili ka any category).

  77. Register by buying an ASICS shoe. You get to register, get a pair, got to race and help a kid. What is there to complain so much about? If you just see the cup half empty, well, it’s also half full if I may remind you. If you are wishing to run this Marathon, skip the other races that you need NOT run commercially. Train well and train not by racing all the time. You can save enough for the shoes, registration and helping. If you could see that, it’s win-win. The Concepcion brothers are there for the love of the sport and the desire to help a marginalized sector. Somebody will make money for sure. But any sport is also business-oriented. Running the skyway is going to be expensive. It’s not as cheap as Fort or Roxas Boulevard. It is “closing” it’s operation for the runners, not for charity. Something has to be in it for them as it is their business. As a runner, running the Skyway is different. It will be my 3rd but it will be my 1st Marathon for this route. I have trained hard for it for 2014 but Yolanda shot it down. But it was for good reason that Condura 2014 did not happen. Hence 2015 is going to be it. But I will be slower given my age. But it’s going to be my IT race for 2015. So, do you want to have the adventure? I will bite the bullet now on that reg fee. But not really a painful bite looking at the glass half full.

  79. register na ko sa 42k expensive nga at mahal pero ang satisfaction and pull filling moment ay di mabibili ng pera at kasiyahan . mahirap kitain ang pera pero……. for THE passion for running is their in your heart , mind and soul …so no matter what the cost … enjoyment is their … and love of being healthy ..is a good cost……….

  89. Registered for the 21k run! My First 21k sa Road race at First run sa Skyway! Regarding the Fees, wag na lang nating isipin na mahal, Isipin na lang natin yung Beneficiary na tutulungan for this race. The fee is pricey but helping a kid sending them to school is priceless. :)

  90. please help, hindi po makapasok yung card na binili ko 42k nag eerror pag ipinapasok ko na password ng email ko, nag sign up na din ako ng ibang account baka sakaling pumasok pero ganun pa rin.. nag email na ako sa secretariat ng condura marathon wala namang reply.. hassle!

  96. Bakit pinapapapick-up yung racekit sa central post office?!!!
    I registered online and paid the extra P200 for racekit delivery tapos ipapapick-up din pala yung racekit ko! At sa central post office pa na open lang ng 8am to 5pm on weekdays!!! Kaya nga pinapadeliver e kasi walang time to go instore twice to buy prepaid kit and claim the kit!
    BADTRIP!!!!

  98. Dami naman negative comments ng mga tao… kung mahal huwag na lang sumali. Expected na mahal yan kasi Skyway eh. Imagine ipasara mo ang Skyway just for one hour? Ilang libo na ang lugi nila if hindi nila babawiin sa runners. Ako mismo hindi ako tatakbo kasi ubos talaga budget ko. Pero hindi ako galit sa organizers kasi mahal talaga yung lugar. Kung may budget lang ako, ito yung gusto ko. Straight path and walang lubak.

    Matanong ko na din. Saan yung start and end ng race? Is this from Alabang to Buendia?
