may dagday talga silang 10 php para sa donation ntin ako nga100php lang plus 10 php para sa 5k lang join ko.pero napaka mura ng reg,fee nila imagine php110.00 lang for 5k sa lahat ng nslihan ko ito ang pinakamura at one of known running events in the world ok.see yah all runners praktis -praktis din pag may time haha.dont forget to bring 300 grmas milo pouch para sa registration aside from reg.fee.fyi pls.thx

a friend of mine suffered an injury recently and thus will no longer be able to participate in the 21 K run, is it possible to have another person run in his place. I’m asking since organizers have been strict in requiring a medical certificate… is the registration transferable and you will just require the replacement runner a med cert or will this just be a case of bad luck try again next year kinda of case…

Hindi ata pwede yun. Especially na mas malaki ang payment ng 21k. Hindi nila maibabalik yung sobra sa registration fee mo.

Dapat ito ay “will start on June 27…” hindi “on June 27″…. Paano kung hindi ko mapuntahan ng June 27, ibibgay ba nila sa iba yung nakaresserve para sa kin? Dapat hindi.

sa totoo lang, BS Naman yang med cert eh, may waiver naman, so walang dapat sisihin kung may casualty na magaganap, dagdag expenses lang yan at processes.

sa sm north sa the block kayo pumunta sa 3rd floor kasi dun me nagpa register 3 weeks ago pa besides kaunti lang tao dun mga 1 pm kau pumunta dun ok.dpata lang na may medical certificate ang 21k kasi this is a competitive run kaya dpat lang med certificate for safety of runners and organizers also try to understand nalang tayung mga participants.thx

Yung delivery man nila ay madalas naka motor lang, kaya minsan kung hindi nila kaya na pumunta sa location mo (di maiwan yung motorcycle), may tatawag sa yo para puntahan sya. In my case, this happened.
Depende yata sa availability ng singlet but usually it only takes a week or less yun delivery. In my case I forwarded my med cert ng Monday, by Friday na-deliver na yun race kit. Wait mo na lang until this week…

I must agree with that.. I emailed din runrio but to no response from them. Imagine, me my friends registered online June 2, 2014 pa but till now wala pa yung race kits. In 2011, nag reg din kami online for RU3 pero efficient naman kasi 3 days after nadeliver na the race kits through LBC.

di naman po siguro yun ang dahilan kung bakit binababa n la yung time.. kasi bago mag simula ang registration nakapost na yung rules ang regulations.. maybe gusto nila na mas marami ang makatakbo sa 42k sa December
well, if that’s your opinion na “nilalangaw ang 42k finals” ibig lang sabihin nun e kakaunti lang yung talagang masasabing “elite runners” dito… kasi kung iisipin mo, sa ibang AIMS/IAAF races nakahiwalay pa nga yung elite runners e and hindi din sya ganun karamihan…medyo madami na nga yung nakakasali sa 42k finals ng Milo e.
kaya nga “prestigious running event” yung Milo Marathon e kasi only the “best” yung nakakasali sa 42k finals (maliban na lang dun sa ilan na cheaters na nakakalusot)… and if ito nga yung magiging trend na i-adjust yung qualifying time para madami makasali sa 42k finals then it will be sad… instead of runners chasing the cut-off time, the cut-off time is adjusted to “chase” the runners…
tama ka dyan sir.. dumami nga ang runner sa ngayon pero lumiliit yung percent na nag qualify sa MILO..

For those who received their singlet via courier, please advise the name of the courier company. Called up Run Rio contact nos. many times but no answer! I also e-mailed them and they advised that they will get back to me. And until now, no update. Already escalated this to Milo via e-mail, they acknowledge my concerned and that’s it.
i already got my race kit. i registered online for 21k. but when they informed me to provide the medical certificate i informed Runrio thru email to change my registration from 21k to 10k. Luckily they granted my request.

Funny thing is dapat noon pa nila inimplement yang medical certificate. I have been joining 21k races for quite some time then it’s only now that they’re imposing it. Nakakadismaya. Dagdag gastos lang talaga. So kung ganun mag 5k na lang ako. Mas mura pa. Besides, I’m not running to compete. Just for fun!

My brother and I registered last June 6. My brother’s kit arrived last Monday but did not include mine. This bothers me a lot because we registered together but our kits were not sent at the same time. Though I’m still positive the delay’s just due to singlet availability and this is just the 1st time I encountered this kind of delay, didn’t have any when we joined RU2 and World Vision run. Tried calling the hotlines but all lines are busted, emailed them instead and got a reply that gave a very vague assurance. I hope this concern of mine and many others will be addressed ASAP.

@tikboy takbo : I was told that milo will release an official list of those who complied with med cert req. and can run and at the check in chute, they will check the bib no. if its on the list before they allow the runner to get to the start line……

Try to resend ur med cert to them, possibly with the confirmation email u received when registered online. Then add mo sa subject: RACE KIT NOT YET DELIVERED. Don’t expect a reply kasi they dnt reply, but at least that may catch their attention.
