If you’re seriously training to improve your biking performance then you’ll need a cycling computer that tells you your cadence (or pedaling rate), speed and distance, these indicators are the most basic information you need in monitoring performance.
What I currently use is the Strada Cateye Double Wireless which you can purchase in Cartimar for around P4,500, it’s simple and effective but you can’t save or download your workouts from the device.
Another option is if you already own a Garmin or Suunto sports watch is to purchase their corresponding Cadence Sensors for around P3,000++ (watch not included). The advantage is that you can consolidate and sync your information online via each brands web portal.
Now if you own an iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch (5th generation), iPad (3rd and 4th generations), there’s another option for you. The Wahoo Fitness Blue SC.
