Dear NatGeo Earth Day Run 2014 Registrants,
Here are some reminders in relation to the NatGeo Earth Day Run 2014 singlet claiming:
Singlets can be claimed at the SM Aura (Lower Ground floor) NATGEORUN registration area. starting April 10 from 11AM to 9PM.
Please present your ACTUAL Natgeo Earth Day Run bib number AND a copy of your valid ID when claiming.
Please follow the singlet claiming procedure accordingly.
We anticipate a large number of participants to claim especially on April 10 so please expect long queues even as we ensure that a proper procedure is set to prevent this from happening. To avoid the initial stream of people, you may choose to claim any day until April 20.
Shirt sizes are subject to availability
We are initially anticipating a surge of 6,000 participants to go to the SM AURA registration center to claim singlets by tomorrow, April 10.Despite a well-placed plan, we are faced with space and security constraints.To remedy this and as part of our efforts to provide you hassle-free singlet claiming, we have made minor improvements to the schedule:
April 10 – start of singlet claiming for short-distance categories 3k, 5k and 10k.
April 12 – start of singlet claiming for long-distance categories 21k and 42k.
This arrangement aims to let the biggest bulk of claimants pass first before having the longer distance participants come to claim their singlets.

Wala naman ako pakialam kung maaga or madali magpost ng events. Ang mahalaga sakin is yung name ng organizer. Kasi kung late lang naman ang announcement pero matagal ng pinaghahandaan, I guess there’s nothing wrong with it.
I think they are referring to race scheds of particular events, i.e., gusto nila takbuhan yung event na ito kaso pre-occupied na ng iba. Had they announced much earlier, dito marahil sila tatakbo. =)
Hmm, medyo late nagannounce ang Natgeo. Paano ang mga tao na gusto magmarathon! 8 weeks is not a good time frame to train for a marathon. 21k na lang ulit.
who’s the organizer? if the organizer is the same as last year, the marathon will be dangerous for sho.

my first official run was Natgeo last 2011, am now been running for three years, this is going to be my anniversary run.. though I have been training for a full marathon in prep for MILO, mag 21km muna ako, I didn’t expect na magkakaron ng 42km ang Natgeo hehe hopefully di magkaubusan ng slot..

I just registered online. Please mind the singlet size. Medyo payat ako ng konti and yung saktong size is Medium (that was last year). Kung parehong organizer lang din nung last year, baka pareho din ang measurements. Goodluck All!

Just registered 4 hours ago at SM Aura. Talked to 1 of the Marshalls. Organizer is “Event King”. Singlet is black with yellow/gold on both sides for 21K and 42K. Grey sides on 10/5/3K. Merong F. Shirt and Medal ang 21K and 42K. No Singlet only Bib number, and other info inside the envelope upon register. Idi deliver na lang daw yung Racekit. Hope this helps.

Thankz Oz! So how much did you pay for it? 950+125 (delivery charge)? Meaning ung charge ng onsite and online are the same, it’s just that I guess you get to see the actual singlet sizes when you go to SM Aura.
this run is very expensive imagine P1,500 mas mahal pa sa run united.medyo magulo ang route 2 loops i’m sure may mandaya dito..,last 2012 negative fedback hindi maganda yung review the same yung organizer events king.,

Just registered yesterday and as always, madami nanaman nag register ng madamihan kaya hindi gumalaw ang pila.. Buti naman nag gawa ng isang pila para sa maramihang registration kasi 3 lang ang laptop ang pag gamit sa registration.. Kaya kailangan ng pasensya baon mo dun.. Tpos ang style ngayon is i-deliver ang singlets sa address niyo, bib lang ang mabibigay after registration at may libreng MUG SHOT pa :) Grabe din ang price, 1500ph? Pang ultra-marathon na yun ah.. Pero sabi naman may finisher shirt and medal “daw”.. Last year ata hindi na nagpost ng finisher shirt design kaya gulat ako nung natapos ko yung run.. Baka gugulatin ulit tyo.. Tpos 2 loops ang route ng 42km hahahaha! Kakasawa yun mga sir! Kakahilo yun :) pero ok lang yan para Caliraya 360, eto Nageo 720.. hehehe.. Hindi ako mareklamo, sana lang maging sulit yung 1.5k na binayad namin kasi kasi last year parang puro tubig ang hydration.. Pero awsome naman ang design ng shirt at buti parang malambot na yung telang gamit.. Sa mga nag tatanong pa rin this year’s organizer is Event King Corp. same as last year.
Medyo nakakalito yung mga personnel nila dun sa registration site, when you ask them kung ang inclusion ng 21k/42k is both medal and shirt ang sagot lang nila eh di pa daw sure either or both. But on the bib you can you a medal ang finisher shirt stub. It’s just starting :D

So..registered today in SM Aura for the 21K category. Unfortunately, for pickup na yung mga succeeding onsite registrants. Yes that’s right, babalik pa kami for the singlet. Release date ay March 15 onwards daw tapos in terms of your preferred singlet size, no guarantee kasi first come first served basis. Abalamuch! Kung alam ko lang na ganun eh di sana nag online na lang ako although it seems may mga issues rin ung online registration noh? For the organizers of this run, is it so hard for someone within your team to post such changes online – your website, a few of the most visited runnning sites such as this one, facebook? SM Aura is not the most accessible mall pero deadma because we want this but we went there expecting na after the onsite registration ok na, to be delivered na lang ung singlet but no babalik pa kami! Seriously, registration shouldn’t be such an inconvenience.
So again just to set your expectations, sa mga nagbabalak magregister SM Aura from today to March 14 please note na babalik pa kayo to claim your singlet on March 15 onwards. Unless bukas or the next days may changes na naman ung onsite registration.
Note to the organizers — see what I did there? It took me 2mins to do that, now at least ung mga usual visitors ng site would be better informed hence less frustration when they actually decide to register onsite.

Gunstart ng 42k eh 2:30am ang Gunstart ng 21k eh 4am.. kung papansinin mo ang unang 21k run mo dapat within 1.5hrs. para pag 2nd loop mo eh start plang ng 21k runners. dun magkakasabay kayo.. pero kung sa 21k gunstart ka tatakbo para sa 42k event mo malabo yan dahil baka di mo matapos yung 2loops mo within cutoff time..

Event king nga ulit ang hahawak ng NATGEO 2014…ok naman yung 21k last year, totoo tubig lang ang inumin na binigay nila sa mga HYDRATION, yung magulong baggage claim di ko na experience.. ang ginawa ko kasi pagdating ng finishline sa Baggage counter ako nagpunta tsaka na yung FS.. kaya di naging problema sa akin ang baggage counter..practice na kayo na tubig lang ang iinumin kasi baka water lang ulit eh… gudluck mga runners..
