OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE RACE OWNER, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL PHILIPPINES:
Dear NatGeo Earth Day Run 2014 Registrants,
Here are some reminders in relation to the NatGeo Earth Day Run 2014 singlet claiming:
Singlets can be claimed at the SM Aura (Lower Ground floor) NATGEORUN registration area. starting April 10 from 11AM to 9PM.
Please present your ACTUAL Natgeo Earth Day Run bib number AND a copy of your valid ID when claiming.
Please follow the singlet claiming procedure accordingly.
We anticipate a large number of participants to claim especially on April 10 so please expect long queues even as we ensure that a proper procedure is set to prevent this from happening. To avoid the initial stream of people, you may choose to claim any day until April 20.
Shirt sizes are subject to availability
We are initially anticipating a surge of 6,000 participants to go to the SM AURA registration center to claim singlets by tomorrow, April 10.Despite a well-placed plan, we are faced with space and security constraints.To remedy this and as part of our efforts to provide you hassle-free singlet claiming, we have made minor improvements to the schedule:
April 10 – start of singlet claiming for short-distance categories 3k, 5k and 10k.
April 12 – start of singlet claiming for long-distance categories 21k and 42k.
This arrangement aims to let the biggest bulk of claimants pass first before having the longer distance participants come to claim their singlets.

IMPORTANT REQUEST to the Natgeorun: Please po, pakiayos ang distribution ng mga Finisher Shirts. I heard that last year first come first served basis ang bigayan ng shirts. Huwag naman po sanang ganito. Kawawa ang mga maliliit ang sizes ng katawan tapos ang matitira sa kanilang mga shirts ay Large, XL, or XXL. LAST TIME I’LL BE JOINING EVENT KING’S EVENT. 42K AND 21K HAS EXACTLY THE SAME SINGLET, 900 VERSUS 1500 PESOS? COULD NOT HATE ON THE STAFF BECAUSE THEY WERE ALSO CONFUSED AND APOLOGETIC WHEN CONFRONTED AFTER THE RACE SO WE’LL JUST RANT HERE SO RUNNERS CAN SEE HOW MANY YEARS IN A ROW EVENT KING HAS BEEN FAILING TSK
1st 42km ko. ok naman yung event sa akin. adequate hydration and lots of medical units. pwede pa magpa spray doon sa medics sa calf para di ma cramps. ang ayaw ko lang since this is my first 42k and probably my last is yung finisher shirt. although hindi ko din na kita yung fine print na 21/42k finisher ang nakagalagay sa mga samples nila. sana hiwalay ang 21 and 42k finisher shirt. di biro din kasi ang 42k

I emailed many times already to follow-up our unclaimed singlets. How come until today no feedback…..We’re out of town to claim the singlets, April 22 we went to SM Aura but no more booth there. I’m an OFW and very excited to be part of this run, but now very depressed on the outcome.
