QUEZON CITY CUBAO LIONS CLUB (QCCLC) is celebrating its 43rd year of community service this year. Since 1970, QCCLC has conducted high impact socio-civic activities that help alleviate the lives of the poor. And QCCLC financed most of its humanitarian projects either through its own resources or in partnership with the private sector.
Since 2001, QCCLC has consistently helped the most vulnerable sector of society – the STREET CHILDREN from Metro Manila. Presently, QCCLC is actively supporting “rescued” street children who are residing in Nayon ng Kabataan (NK). For your information, NK is a Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) facility for deprived and neglected children and is located in Welfareville compound, Mandaluyong City. QCCLC supports the children’s total rehabilitation program through its donations. Likewise, QCCLC co-manage the daily operation of the street children center as well as its livelihood program.
Due to the highly successful “Fun Run” the last two years, the QCCLC was able to raise enough funds to support its street children advocacy. This year marks the third year of “Takbo …Tulungan Batang Lansangan”. The QCCLC is holding the FUN RUN (2.2K, 6.6K and 11K) at the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus Oval, Quezon City on, Sunday November 24, 2013. Assembly time is 5:00 AM while race time is exactly 6:00 AM.

walang FS at medal ito base po sa last year run… ang masabi ko lang..isa ito sa magagandang singlet.. walang sinabi yung malalaking run kung singlet ang pag uusapan.. paikot-ikot lang ito sa academic oval.. for a cause ito mga ka runner..tulungan natin ang mga batang lansangan.. mamaya paregister na ako sana meron ng tao sa sport center hehehehe….
