This October 6, 2013, Takbo! Breast Friends! is happening at Tiendesitas, Frontera Verde. This is a fund-raising event of Soroptimist International of Ortigas & Environs to provide free Chemotherapy & Tamoxifen to breast cancer patients who are in stages I to IIB. The event is also intended to raise awareness about breast cancer commemorated in the month of October.

3K – Boys and Girls, 12 years old and below (13 years old and above are welcome in this category, but they are considered non-competitive)
5K – Male and Female, 13 years old and above
10K – Male and Female, 13 years old and above
Registration Fees:
3K – Php 400
5K – Php 500
10K – Php 600
– Inclusive of Race bib, Singlet, plus freebies
– Deadline for registration is October 4, 2013
– Onsite registration is allowed, however, onsite registrant will be classified as non-competitive

hello to the organizers, just to let you know that distance run is not 10 km but 8.6 km., 1- instead of turning left to lanuza from St. Martin it should have been turn right and turn around near C5 ( 600 mts back and forth, 2- instead of turn around near cor julia vargas, turn around should have been near corner ortigas ave. ( 900 mts back and forth) tsk tsk, anyway nice run just the same
