Will not forget last year’s Rexona Run — did an extra round trip atop the Buendia Flyover because of a misunderstanding of the marshal’s signal. No problem because I ran more than the prescribed 21 kilometers and definitely missed out on the special prize for sub-two finishers.
I hope this was not the inspiration for their latest slogan “Do More”.

Bakit kaya ang aga ng mga gun start? 3:45 am for 5k? matatapos ung 5k run madaling araw pa din! Ok lang siguro for the 21k ang 3 am pero maaga pa din. Final na ba yan? Baka naman assembly time yan.

I think for both. Ayon sa nakasaad sa runrio.com:
“1.PRESENT YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION AND RECEIPT/PERFORATED STUB FOR INSTORE REGISTRATION”. In other words, kailangan talaga pumunta sa claiming date at place para makuha ang kit which is not ‘runner friendly’. Napapaisip tuloy ako tapos ang aga pa ng gun start…
mahal….pero ok n rin… dito n lang ako sasali kesa sa run rio? kapos s budget eh..hehehheee nagtataka lang ako!! bakit hindi pwede s ibang branch ng toby’s-puro MOA lang? pinakamaganda siguro kung lahat ng branch eh me registration. anong meron ung tobys moa na wala ung ibang tobys? ikaw, ano s tingin mo?

Sir Runrio din ito. Budget constraint siguro (in my opinion) kaya hindi pedeng lahat ng Toby’s may registration site. Sa tingin ko kasi nagbabayad ang RunRio Inc. ng rent sa Toby’s Management.

or kung gusto mo po, suggest mo kay rio na sa SM bills payment na lang maglagay ng registration site…tutal halos lahat naman ng lugar e may SM na…ahahahahahaha!!!!!!

nilalawakan ko lang ung pang-unawa ko para sa mga runner/s na magpapa-reg s mga site/s…. mahirap kasing maging makitid he…hehehehehe…. try mo kaya bumisita s mga site/s nang makita mo kung ganu kahaba at katagal ung bawat pila para s isa lang atang machine? hahahahaha bakit di sila maglagay ng mga special booth for registration lalo n s araw at pagkatapos ng sweldo s mga SM outlet/s? hindi lang naman kasi taga-metro manila ang napila s site/s?
Kung hassle sayo (or sa iba pa) na pumunta at ayaw mong pumila sa registration sites, nanjan ang Online Registration. Stop complaining kung meron naman kasing paraan, nakakainis kasi magbasa ng comments dito kung puro complaints mo nababasa ko eh. paulit ulit, unli?

Wala naman sa dami ng registration sites yung pagtulong sa kapwa runner HABANG tumatakbo sila. Kung ang point mo is yung pagiging considerate or something, Ito na lang isipin mo, “Kung gusto maraming paraan, kung ayaw maraming dahilan”.

ang ganda ng finisher shirt…yung singlet simple lang pero ok din,, uhm napapaisip tuloy ako kung ma itry ngang mag 21k.. however ang problem ko poh ay hindi pa naman ako tumatakbo ng malayuan?

kaya yan mam. .. try to run twice to thrice a week then Long Slow Distance Run ng weekends mga 13K pataas..then during race pag nka 10k kana alternate mo n un mga 2k run then 1k walk di mo mppansin malapit kana sa finish line.. go for 21K =)

Ayon sa FAQ’s ng runrio site, singlet size charts are the same (RU 1, 2, PM and Rexona) so relevantly same lang din ng Finisher’s shirt.
I really hate it pag binabash ang Runrio, lalo na ng mga media personalities para lang maipromote ang ibang running event na sa tingin nila cheaper. The cheaper the fee, the cheaper the service diba? 900 for a 21k merong medal, shirt and lootbag is worth it. Period.
