Manila Bay Clean-up Run 3 will be held on July 14, 2013 at CCP Ground, Pasay City. This is a fund drive organized and managed by The Manila Broadcasting Company. Lets support this advocacy run to help protect Manila Bay.

– Inclusive of Singlet, Race bib with RFID, Route map

  13. I will join here instead of the Takbo.ph Run. After the run kasi pwede pa akong magbonding with my family sa Star City. Gusto kong sumakay dun sa bagong Ferris Wheel. Hehehe/

  34. Fundraising running events with green advocacies are worth promoting and supporting. But can the race organizer provide information on how the proceeds will be used?

  37. Hmm. Judging by the quality of the singlet and medal in last years 15km category, hihintayin ko muna yung actual shirt and medal design bago ako magregister for 21km. Super pangit kasi ng quality ng medal last year. Super kinakalawang na yung sakin ngayon. Ang tigas pa nung tela ng singlet. Okay lang mag 10k kung pangit yung freebies for 21km, same lang naman may 2 free RAYC tickets at mas mura pa pag 10k. :)

  38. Maganda sana quality ng medal and finisher shirt and yung ruta please lang wag naman paikot ikot ng Roxas Blvd. lang. Last year kasi tatlong ikot ata ginawa namin sa 16k, then syempre siksikan na kasi makakasabay na pabalik ung mga 3k, 5k, 10k runners… Kahit paabutin nyo lang sa may MOA part. :)

  39. 1st anniversary ko sa running community, dito ako nag start official run ko kaya takbo ulit ako dito now 21k na dati 10k lang at pang 48 spot ako nun sub 1 agad newbie…masaya ito may ride all you can ticket pa pwede itago hanggang december…:D

  40. pumunta ako knina sa Chris North EDSA para maparegister, na sayang lang effort ko pagpunta dun di pa pala nila alam ung start ng on-site registration.. :(

    • sori wala na po sa Chris Sports outlet. dito po mga reg areas Planet Sports- Trinoma, the Athlete’s Foot in Alabang Town Center, ROX in BGC and Manila Broadcasting Company in CCP Complex po

      • kanina ko lang din nalaman nilipat pala sa trinoma (planet sports), pag punta ko sa MBC to register.. dapat po kasi kung may changes about sa registration sites i update agad para di po sayang yung time ng mga magpaparegister lalo na kung malayo pinanggalingan..

  41. baka naman po magaya last year kung saan saan kami tinuro para mag register tapos ala naman n pala slots.

    • Hi open na po registration namin sa Planet Sports- Trinoma, the Athlete’s Foot in Alabang Town Center, ROX in BGC and Manila Broadcasting Company in CCP Complex po. The earlier you register the better. So pag naubos na po ang slot wala na po talaga.

  44. i went to Chris sports (annex and main hall) in SM North edsa today WALA PA SILANG ALAM NA REGISTRATION SITE SILA!!! Pls be accurate kasi bumabyahe pako from Pampanga just to register! pls lang!

  48. Baka naman pwede kayong magkaroon ng registration sites khit sa Megamall or Shangrila mall? Maraming mlayo sa BGC at Alabang.

    • Sana yung details sa taas ang binabago and not just posting them sa comments. Sayang oras kanina sa SM North yun pala e sa Trinoma na.

    • just called up planet sports trinoma a while ago, buti na lang pala tumawag ako, kasi nde daw available ang registration pag weekdays (HUH?), weekends lang daw cla open at bandang hapon pa (oh my!)… sana may nakalagay dito sa details about it, kasi pano yung mga galing sa malayo… kasi malayo pa daw date kaya nde pa cla full blast sa registration eh parang 3rd week na ng registration period ah… please, sana available na kayo full blast next week para anytime eh walang hassle sa pag-reg…

  61. This was my first fun run… sumabak kgad ng 15k last year and after that naging active nko sumali sa mga fun runs.. last year instead of getting two tickets i got six! unlimited both pocari and bottled water and my shower s finish line.. sna this year gnun prin or much better.

  62. I would join this because it is for a good cause. But like many others out there, I will take into consideration the other runs scheduled on the same date. Things to take into consideration, among many, are the following: registration fees, singlet quality design (how I wish organizers Would realize that less is better- you do not need to include every color in the rainbow. Simple designs are the best. Examples are the National Geographic, Merrell, and Energizer ringlets. Now, if only the Energizer people could learn how to train their Marshalls or put better route signs..

    I see the singlet design here is not bad. I hope the actual one is of good material and also fits well. AND I hope its back is just like in the picture here. Sometimes, when you register, you find out that the back of the singlet is tadtad ng sponsors and logos. Not nice at all. It helps organizers when runners use their singlets even after a run. I never use the ones with too many sponsor’s logos at the back. I also wish they would stop placing the date and year of the run. It’s May already. In approximately six months, your singlet will be outdated. Who cares about the date of the run? If you organize a series of runs just place the name of your run and then place one, two, three and so on after your run’s name. People will continue to wear your singlet longer.

    I have a question about the free tickets to Star City. Are these for use only on the race day? Or can they be used some other time? I’m sure that many people won’t be able to use them if they are only good on that day. Am hoping that they will be good for at least a limited period of time.

    I will really consider joining this race, especially since it is for a good cause. To all participants here, have a good one!

  65. kamote naman ito. went to athlete’s foot in alabang and sabi tuwing saturday afternoon lang daw nagpupunta yung tao for registration.
    today nagpunta ako sa rox sa bgc. wala pa yung tao.
    puro natutulog sa pansitan itong mga ito.

  66. Registered na sa wakas.ok naman un quality ng singlet kya lng ang sbi nung guy sa registration d daw cla cgurado kung my sizes un F.S bka kc gawin na lng one size fits all.huwag nmn sana. :(

  69. Just want to ask what happened to the proceeds of last year’s Manila Bay clean up run? My running playground is the Manila Bay Roxas Blvd-CCP-MOA area, and Manila Bay is as dirty as ever. Parang wala namang clean-up na naganap…

  70. @lotski: singlet sizes are from xsmall,small,medium,large,xlarge,and 2xlarge.
    for the starting time of each race-,21k-5:00AM, 10k-5:30AM, 5k-5:50AM, 3k-6:00AM.
    assembly place is in front of Manila Broadcasting Company,Vicente Sotto St.,CCP Complex at 4:00AM.

  71. 5AM guns start for 21K is late, mainit pa rin just like yesterday’s RU2. Tirik na araw 7AM pa lang. Organizers, please reconsider. How about a 4AM gun start?

  80. pwede po ba makita yung design ng FS kasi opinyon ko lang naman po parang jersey na pambasketball yung singlet baka naman makakabawi sa FS

  88. may nakakaalam po ba dito kung may sizes yung finisher’s shirt nila? wala kasi nakalagay dun sa reg form at hindi alam nung tao nila sa planet’sport trinoma eh. or baka naman 1 size fits all na lang? hehe
