interested nga din ako for 21k kaso wala na daw talaga slots. Nagtanung na ko sa lahat ng registration site. Not sure sa MBC though. I settled for 10k na lang.

I just went online and noticed that you changed the starting times for all race categories. Had I not checked online, I would have been completely unaware of this and my partner and I would have missed our runs completely.
You race organizers have the responsibility to inform ALL the participants who paid good money to participate in your event about any changes you make. Do NOT assume everyone will check online. And furthermore, it is not our responsibility to do so. If YOU make changes, YOU should inform all the participants. I pity the participants who show up late because they were unaware of the changes in starting times.
We participants fill out your forms and we are made to include both our email addresses and cel phone numbers.
It is your responsibility to inform participants about any changes you make. Please keep that in mind when you organize your future events.
I am looking forward to a good run tomorrow. I hope that your race marshalls are alert and will guide the runners well and that he people manning he water stations will be efficient and there will be enough water for everyone.

Dameng late maaga nag start. Karamihan unaware s change.Ang hirap iclaim ng baggage may nawalan pa mg bg. Pero masaya pasin ako basta makatakbo ayus na yan..
grabe yun inconvenience sa baggage area. Yun mga tao 5 lng tapos kung saan saan nila nilalagay un mga bags, kwawa naman, mas pinawisaan p ko sa pag antay ng bag ko kesa dun sa 5k na tinakbo ko. tapos un tinakbo natin dba para sa manila bay clean up? pero ang gamit na tubig plastic cups. tapos kung saan saan na tinapon. tsk tsk tsk. masaya lang kasi natapos mo un goal mo, sana lang ibigay agad un result para naman makabawi kayo!

Hay nako. Nalate ako sa gun start. Nsgbago pla an time. Mor than a week a ndi nagchek e.
5am nako dumating kala ko my time p magwarm up for 10k. Hala kakaupo ko plng tumatakbo n sila. Aun 15mns late ako. Buti natapos ko kahit injured ako
Ung pagclaim ng bags grabe ANG GULO! Kumain nako at lahat ndi p din naayos hay.
Mas maganda last year…palpak ung sa baggage sobrang gulo…
To the runners commenting about the gunstart, the organizers sent a couple of text messages and an email notifying the change in gunstart time and route. It is their responsibility to inform the runners of such change.
However, it also the responsibility of the runners to complete the registration form with correct information. Some participants take lightly the filling out of the forms and do not confirm the correctness of the information written. It is also our responsibility as runners to go online at least a day before the event to confirm the details of the run. I bet that a lot of people can stare at their facebook feed for hours at no end, so might as well check out the details of the run from reliable online sources while you’re at it.
To the organizers of MBC run, the gunstart was at 4:30am, not 4:45am. The flag ceremony, morning prayer, and runner’s pledge should have started 15 minutes earlier.
The distance markers are so confusing. I mean, what the heck, I just passed by the 3k marker and a few minutes later there’s another 3k marker, and then another after a few hundred meters. Then I realized it was color coded. Oh well, at least there is a puzzle to solve while running. :)
I also expect lots of trash bins for the cups along the route (this IS Manila Bay cleanup drive run, right?), but there is only one garbage bin per water station to hold the used cups. The bag got filled up quite fast so some of the cups ended along the route.
No bananas or energy drink for the 21k runners. I wish they have at least provided a couple of bananas for the distance runners. It should not have cost them so much coz I think there was less than 500 runners in the 21k event.
I am also a bit disappointed at the Star City voucher, as it is good until October 31 only, therefore it cannot be used during the holidays. What a bummer.
But despite all of these disappointments, kudos to the marshals for being alert and organized in controlling the traffic and runners. I also had a little laugh before the gunstart because of the runner’s pledge being spoken at lengthy intervals.
And sana pinag-guest man lang nila sila Nicole Hyala at Chris Tsuper. Sila pa naman yung inaantay ko :)
Guys where did you get the strider tag/RFID sa kakamadali ko last 1 min before the gun start I checked in d ako nakakuha? I just noticed it that I dont have have that kind of tag nung tapos na ung race… is there a possiblity pa ba na makuha ko ung time ko I run 5k wearing 6319? thank you guys
Baggage counter sucks!!! Gun start was changed without text/e-mail notification!
But it was such a great run though last year was better…
@RD!396: *Strider tag was included in the race kit. It was attached at the back of your BIB no. If you don’t have that timing chip, there is no possibility that your time is recorded.

Ei guys wag na kayo mag reklamo. Mura na nga ung run na un tapos sa ticket ng starcity bawi na kayo. Kung mahal ang bayad dun kayo mag reklamo kung d maganda ang pag oorganize. Isa pa about sa plastic cups na walang basurahan, na notice ko lng sa ibat ibang race na sinalihan ko, meron man o walang basurahan, kumakalat pa din ang cups sa daan. Wag kayo mag alala lilinisin din un. Kung d kayo nasayahan eh d next year wag na kayo sumali.
