Deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Reymond Cruz of the Army Navy South Tri Team. Please see below for the official statement of Tri United 1′s race director, Raul Cuevas.
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing today of Mr. Reymond Cruz, a member of Army Navy South Tri Team, at Tri United 1 held at Subic Bay, Olongapo City.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Reymond, as the triathlon community mourns the loss ot one of its own. Let us all pray for strength and support for his friends and loved ones at this most trying time. We pray for the eternal peace of Reymond as he joins our Creator.

I think he was the one who colapsed during the run. May you rest in peace sir, and condolece to the family of sir Reymond.

ingatz po palagi in any endurance sports like running,dua,tri even the elite has no guarantee sa ganitong sports… condolence po ulit…
I talked to one of the participants who aided Raymond when he collapsed and hit his face in the ground. Sir Raymond seem to reached a condition in running and cycling they call “hit the wall” based on the story of those who saw the incident. I am in the middle of the run leg that time and Sir raymond was ahead of me probably also doing his last loop of the run.
