The Sikad-Lakad-Takbo, also known as SILAKBO, is a fund raising activity for the Save Silang-Santa Rosa River Foundation, Inc. (S3R2), a non-profit organization and partner of the City Government of Santa Rosa in the protection and rehabilitation of the Sta. Rosa Watershed. Now, powered by The Greentennial Run, SILAKBO HALF MARATHON will be held in a more exciting race venue – Greenfield City!

  17. Join ako dito. This could be my first Run with Greentenial as event organizer and heard a lot of positive things about them.

  20. Parang kailan lang way back 2012, ito yung first ever takbo ko 5K Run, since then… nag-umpisa na ang makulay kong buhay sa mundo ng pagtakbo. and this will be my 1st year anniversary in Running. Thanks SILAKBO! thanks GOD!

  21. Wow. Basta Greentennial talaga, THE BEST!. First Run and First 21K ko eh sa Greenfield City din. Dun sa Clean Air Run nila. Hahaha. :D Free Shuttle naman dyan. :D

  24. walang finisher shirt ang 21K..wala na din medals for all finishers sa lahat ng categories just like last year. To think nagmahal pa registration

  25. Kamusta naman kaya ang Hydration Stations ngaun?? Last year kasi CHLORINE na nilagyan ng tubig ang pina inom sa runners..hehhehe

  26. I understand hindi naman ang GREENTENNIAL ang major organizer ng event, sila lang sa promotions. Baka kasi ma mis interpret ng iba na kapag hindi maganda kinalabasan ng event na ito. Katulad ng walang Finisher Shirts sa 21K, wala nang medal sa lahat ng finishers, pati Hydration station..

    Mae – comment #24 – OO nga, Chlorine na may tubig yung pina inom last year, naibuga ko nga eh..:-)

  27. parang familiar yung logo… is it s copy from pinoyfitness? another event or group… by the way the old logo is more nice and descent than this..

  28. @ KEV – yes, mas maganda nga old logo kaysa sa new one.. And even the singlet ay obvious na katulad ng sa Freedom Run ng LLDA last year.

  29. I was a part of this event last year. Hindi organize.
    Good thing that Greentennial is now a partner of this event for promotions.
    Medyo mahal na nga ang Reg Fee, hindi na lumalayo sa RU events – to think walang finisher shirt. Kawawa runners, pati ba naman tubig tinipid pa. Nakakadala. But personally, I WON”T recommend this event. Kasi hindi naman GREENTENNIAL talaga ang organizer. Promotions lang sila. Kung sa TGR talaga ‘to, walang duda na maganda.

  40. Very undecided about whether to run 21 kilometers or trail bike 20 kilometers! Still hoping for the possibility of doing a combined run-bike-run (duathlon) at this event.

    By the way, the bike shirt looks very tempting.

  42. Gaano kahirap ‘yung trail route ng bike dito? Hindi pa ako nakakasali ng kahit anong bike races, at wala akong experience sa trail biking.

    • Take South Expressway. There are 3 possible exits, Mamplasan or Santa Rosa or Eton City. All will take you to Greenfield Paseo Mall where the starting line is located. You will not miss it. Parking is vast in Paseo Mall, P10 per car. no parking time limit.

      • Diba sir required ng sticker/pass to enter greenfield road pag mamplasan ka exit? pano ba makakuha sticker?

  53. For vehicles entering Mamplasan, please show your racebib to the guards. They will let you pass from 12am-12noon on April 21.

  62. ANNOUNCEMENT : Race Management of Silakbo 2013 will now be handled by its race owners, Save Silang Santa Rosa River Foundation, Inc. Silakbo 2013 is no longer a Greentennial race. We strongly suggest that participants bring their favorite cold energy drinks. Thank you.

  63. Nyare? Marunong ba silang mag-handle ng run. Baka magkagulo yan. What’s with the late change? Remember safety ng runners ang dapat main priority dito.

    Short and distance by around 5kms.

    No markers along the way.

    Marshalls along Pramana going to the two (2) Eton exits are incompetent. Sila yata yung mga nagtitinda ng gulay dun sa kalye. Halatang no experience sa mga runs.

    Information area (kunwari nakaharap sa computer) kapag tinanong, walang sagot, nakatulala.

    Kaya pala kokonti ang nag-register.

    I hope na sa charity and projects mapunta yung binayad ng mga runners. Makonsensya kayo.

    To the Save Silang Santa Rosa River Foundation, Inc. Huwag nyo na uulitin yung ganitong hinding organized na run. Hindi lokohan yung mga runs.

    PLEASE JUST BE KIND ORGANIZERS TO REALY GIVE TO CHARITY….

  70. nice route sana, maiba naman. dumayo pa ako from antipolo, my friend from imus cavite. may marshall ba sa eton exit? ang daming nagkamali dahil walang nagtuturo kung saan iikot yung mga runners.
    pabalik ng paseo, bigla finish line na? sabi nga ni e-runner short ng ~5kms, sayang ang effort maka-PR

    isipin ko na lang nakatulong ako sa effort ng foundation.

  71. to greentennial, understandable naman, minsan hindi nagkakasundo ang organizer at race owner, pero on the eve of the race saka lang nyo na-finalize with the race owner na hindi na kayo ang magpapatakbo? maraming tulad ko na nag-register dahil sa reputation nyo as race organizer tapos bigla hindi na? tsk tsk.. kaming mga runners ang nasakripisyo

    • that’s true…ang sama sa pakiramdam..parang nabaliwala ang effort namin..i’m not blaiming greentennial for this, coz the race owner itself should have made sure of the success of the race…it was a big fail..from gun start, to the race route, to the time, to the marshals, it seems everything failed…hmmm this would be the first and definitely the last

  72. Palpak na kulang ang 21k 17k lng,tapos late na ang Gun Start yung mga Marshall walang alam.,sayang lang yung binayad ko, tama nga ako pah Hindi Greentennial Palpak sna hindi na lng ako tumakbo…

  76. epic fail!!! Walang matinong marshall. Dumayo pa man din ako. Feel na feel ko pa namang makakaPR , BUT NO!!! Kulang ng halos 4k!!!

Still no race results, invalid ata ang results labo2x kasi ang race route btw apple_jeny based sa race map na nakuha ko 2 ikot dpat sa elton exit (andun kasi ang 3rd and 4th turn) for 21KM atska missing ang 2nd turn sa unahan sablay na kaagad. Wlang kasabay na race marshall na guide sa mga nasa unahang runners kaya mali na umpisa ng lahat ng runners (chain reaction) mali na rin ang race routes. Pity on the race owner no lesson learned for 5 years just raising funds no concern for the runners as long as the race finish pwede na!

  83. ang gagaganda ng record ng greentennial sa mga patakbo nila… pero base sa mga feedback ng mga tumakbo dito eh hindi maiaalis ng ilan na sisihin din ang GREENTENNIAL at hindi lang yung owner ng race na ito…

    pwera na lang siguro kung magbibigay sila ng magandang dahilan to explain yung side nila….

  84. wala pong problem sa system since strider ang humawak… ang problema siguro eh yung nag handle ng event kung kulang yung ruta nila eh kulang din ang babasahin ng system…
