Encouraged by the success of the first running event held last year, the Philippine Bible Society (PBS) and partner institutions will stage the “May They Be One Bible Run 2” on March 9, 2013, 5:00 AM, at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta Park, Manila.
This year’s run will be highlighted by colorful tableaus and floats featuring biblical scenes. The Bible Run is designed to help participants learn more about and engage with God’s Word through the scripture verses, biblical information and trivia that will punctuate the race tracks. Participants will also get to interact and have photo opportunities with the Bible characters that will make the run more fun and exciting even as participants help raise funds for the printing of Bibles for under-privileged Filipinos.
Proceeds of the Bible Run 2 will be used for the printing and distribution of five million Bibles to five million poor Filipino families called the “May They Be One” Bible Campaign.
This event is organized by Philippine Bible Society (PBS) in cooperation with the City of Manila, Proactive Sports Philippines, Media Lux Advertising and partner Faith Councils: the Episcopal Commission for Biblical Apostolate of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (ECBA-CBCP), the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) and National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP).

any feedback on their first run?
Already registered for the 10K distance at PCBS. A bit worried for this run because it’s not well advertised. I was the 2nd to register overall! Hopefully the date is final and more will register. This run is cheap and is for a good cause.
