Get ready for Baguio 2wenty 1ne (Trek the Hills!) scheduled on March 10, 2013 at Burnham Lake Drive, Baguio City.
The route will be more exciting than the previous runs which will take runners to marvel the breathtaking view of the city, the surrounding town out to South China Sea at the summit of Mt Cabuyao (2,025+) and have a close encounter with two disc-shaped radars.
The marathon will now have 32K distance aside from 21K, 10K, 5K, 3K. The event theme “Run to Restore Greenery” will support Baguio in its reforestation program.

Just a safety concern. Di po ba kami kakapusin ng hangin/hininga pagdating namin sa taas ng bundok? Iba po kasi ang atmospheric pressure sa taas. Sana po may doctor doon (hindi lang medic/first aide) at ambulance.
(Ano ba ang vertical limit na normal pa rin ang breathing?)
angel, iba pag mataas na elevation, manipis hangin, iba training pag ganito dapat mga bundok/uphill training mo.yup,doctor must be available for this.

Don’t worry about the air in Mt Cabuyao. Hindi ka po kakapusin dito… Ang problem lang dito is the track itself (at Green Valley Road) kasi mostly rough and dirt surface po… Not advisable for barefoot running but manageable kung sanay na tumakbo sa mabatong daanan. Sana nga they will provide a doctor and ambulance near the top coz may kalayuan din yung hospital from the top. Baguio Gen Hosp yung pagdadalhan pa kung sakali.

The 21k & 32k Route is okay. manipis ang hangin, malamig pero enjoy sa taas. For an elite runner, kaya nya walang hinto going up and down. for those fun runners, kaya din ito while they enjoy the scenery below. (DONT FORGET YOUR CAMERA). TIP: alalay lang ang takbo pataas bumawi kayo pag pababa.
No cut off time so everyone can enjoy the distance but the organizer will start the awarding ceremony at around 8 am.
Meron po ambulance provided sa taas with water station. mag dala po kayo ng head lamp kasi maaga ang start natin (5am)
This is a road run. 97% cemented road.

“Run to Restore Greenery” yung portion po ng registration fee ay gagamitin para sa planting activity na gagawin by June (or the onset of the rainy season) as per DENR advice (letter dated December 6, 2012 signed by Edgardo S. Flor from the office of Regional Executive Director Mr. Baguilat) . Sila din ang mag bibigay ng lugar to plant trees. Ang project na ito ng Renderfarm Sports/Graphics ay para makatulong muli sa Reforestation at beautification ng Baguio City.

angel. meron din rough road going up papuntang turning point.pero minimal, hindi gaya ng mga trail running.
@janphil44 ok thanks. that’s good to know. it’s just that P850.00 is parang presyong BGC, but without a finisher’s shirt. but as you’ve said, a portion will go to the tree-planting activity, then i guess that justifies it.. good luck po and i will be expecting much from this event organized by renderfarm.
