On February 17, 2013, roads in 18 sites across the nation will be taken over as the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, better known as PhilHealth, stages the first simultaneous nationwide running event dubbed as PhilHealth Run 2013.
Drawing inspiration from the two highly successful running events organized by its regional centers in Mindanao, the PhilHealth Run 2013: Nationwide Run for Mother and Child Protection promises to be a memorable sporting event as it aims to engage near 100,000 professional and amateur runners from different parts of the country – all running simultaneously with one aim in mind: Universal Health Care in the Philippines.
Runners will converge in 18 major cities that include: Manila, Baguio, Dagupan, Tuguegarao, Clark, Malolos, Sta. Rosa, Batangas, Legazpi, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Iligan, Davao, Koronadal, Butuan, and Marawi.
Through this momentous event, PhilHealth aims to rally the entire nation as it helps stage a push towards bringing universal health care a reality. With universal coverage, every Filipino, regardless of status, is given the financial access and support to quality health care and services.

I just went to Eastwood Robinsons Bank yesterday to register/pay but they said na hindi daw nila alam na may ganitong event ang Philhealth. Listed kasi ang Robsinsons Bank Eastwood sa Philhealth Run website as one of the payment sites. Btw, sa Dagupan kami tatakbo. :)

ride any bus going to north like five star or victory liner ask driver going to dau terminal, near caltex station there are jeepneys going to “clark maingate” drop off to maingate terminal and ride to “route 2” jeepneys and advise going to CDC parade grounds. have a safe race guys!!!

just paid at robinsons bank binondo. as usual, hindi rin alam ng taga-branch. just like comment #2 pero nung tinawagan nila ang head office nila, ayun, naverify din kaso, halos isang oras din akong naghintay kasi inadjust pa ung program sa bills payment system nila pero nag-ok din after. mas mabuti magbayad muna kayo sa mismong philhealth centers or sm payment centers unless ma-inform mabuti ng head office ng robinsons bank ang mga branches nito at mamodify na ung bills payment system for this run.

philhealth shud corrct the posted ads re: race in cagayan de oro as there is no timing chip and finishers medal to speak of, it is just a mere race bib made of plastic material and jersey and nothing else, so sad for the 600 regstratn, we regstrd early excited for d finishers medal but there is none!

Tungkol po sa releasing ng race kit, ito ay depende kung saan region kayo tatakbo dahil wala pong portability ang distribution ng race kit meaning pwede ka pong magparegister online pero makukuha nyo lang ang race kit kung saan area kyo tatakbo.

Due to ample request of Region4A late registrants to extend our registration, we are going to open additional but LIMITED slots for 5K and 10K (W/OUT timing chips) only. We don’t want to compromise our runners’ safety and satisfaction. We will accommodate their registrations BUT with the condition that only racekits will be issue for the meantime and singlets will be release later after the event since our singlet supplier cannot produce anymore additional singlets before Feb. 17.
We are serving on a first come, first serve basis until our remaining stocks last. So I strongly suggest that if there are still anyone who paid on any SM & Robinson payment centers but still not claiming their racekit to us, please claim your racekit ASAP to avoid any inconvencience. 6 Days to go! WE are now expecting to host at least 5,000runners on Feb. 17 at Greenfield, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Runners will be welcomed by Brass Band starting 4:00AM and will be entertained by Reggae Band on our Runners’ Village. Expect more fun and exciting raffle prizes. Top 3 winners of each race category ( male and female) will received cash prizes. Plane tickets from PAL will awarded also to the champions of 18K (Bohol) and 10K (kalibo). See you there!

Due to insisting clamor of Region4A late registrants to extend our registration,may we reiterate that we are going to open additional but LIMITED slots for 5K and 10K (W/OUT timing chips) only. We don’t want to compromise our runners’ safety and satisfaction. We will accommodate their registrations BUT with the condition that only racekits(bib & route map) will be issue upon registration and singlets will be release later after the event since our singlet supplier cannot produce anymore additional singlets before Feb. 17.
WE will once again open our Robinson Philhealth Express, Sta Rosa on Feb. 13, 10AM-5PM ONLY for the releasing of racekits of those registrants who made their payment on any SM & Robinson branches.
