The Resources for the Blind, Inc. began serving the light to the visually impaired throughout the Philippines since 1988. RBI is a non-government Christian organization dedicated to provide hopes and fulfillment of dreams of their blind fellowmen, giving them the chance to achieve the fullest of their potential despite the difficulties in life.

On its 25th founding anniversary, the Beta Mu Sigma Fraternity (Brotherhood of Medical Scholars) is one with the goals of Resources for the Blind, Inc. in continuing to turn darkness into light for the visually impaired. They invite you to join them in a Race with a Vision, the ONE BMS RUN.

  44. 15min cut off time sa 3k for a medal? Karamihan ng sumasali sa 3k are newbies wag na kayo umasa makakuha ng medal you need 5min pace wehehehe… 30min cut off time sa 5k to get a medal? Nyehehe medyo mahirap yan sa recreational runner. Mas madali pa makakuha sa 10k ng medal walang cutoff time. Wehehehe

  46. I agree with eric1krunner. Tanong lang. Kung magpagawa kayo ng maraming medal, at konti lang ang pumasok sa cut- off time, anong gagawin nyo sa sobra? Ganun din, anong gagawin nyo kung pumasok lahat sa cut- off time pero nagkulang medal nyo? So, pag- isipan nyo na lang. =)

  71. I just registered yesterday, nice singlet, I used it already this morning hehehe excited. lang.. Medyo confused lang ako doon sa race route ng 10K According sa Route 2X ikot from P. Ocampo Back to T.M.Kalaw.. pano yun? di pag nag start yung 5K at 3k, may chance na magsasama sila sa isang Route…. tama ba?, anyway.. magka ganon man.. stay safe na lang po ang lahat.. have a good Run..

  78. mas maganda sana kung hahabaan ang cut off time? di naman kasi lahat ng kasali rito ay mga professional/malulupet na runner/s… maganda sanang motivation pero parang imposible? wala atang balak ibigay lahat? hehehehehee

  80. I guess the organizers need to understand that a practice marathon run like this event is distance running and not a speed test. If you set a time limit to those who will receive medals then you are defeating the purpose of a run. worst baka langawin ang event nyo.

  81. @77 The 15-minute and 30-minute cut-off for 3K and 5K, respectively, are meant to determine who gets the medal. Usually, no medals are given to 3K and 5K runners; 10K only occasionally. If you think about it the organizer is even being generous by giving out medals for 3K and 5K (considering that this is a run for a cause) provided you meet their criteria. Runners who prepare well for a running event won’t have too much difficulty finishing 3K in 15 minutes and 5K in 30 minutes. On the other hand, one can cover 3 – 5K in one hour just by walking. I don’t think “runners” who walk most of the time during a running event should get rewarded with a medal.

    @80 All 10K finishers will get a medal. There’s no cut-off time. So I don’t see how it’s defeating the purpose of the run, which, by the way, is to raise funds for Resources for the Blind and not to hand out medals.
