Sofitel-Runrio Battle of the Sexes is scheduled on March 3, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia where male and female participants will compete with each other in one finish line, one venue, one distance. Female runners will have a 7 to 10 minutes head start then male runners will follow.

Important Reminders:
– Registration may end earlier than announced deadline.
– Valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
– Singlet size availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
– Timing device will be used by all participants during the race.

  6. Expensive for a 10k run. All you get is a singlet, no FS or medal. I’ll look for girls some other place bakit pa ako sasali dito.

  7. Mahal naman nyan.. 10k 800 agad? bkit ganun? singlet bib walang finifher shirt at walang medal… subic na lang ako or caliraya may medal na at finisher shirt…

  12. Mahal talaga 800 for a 10k. Pero nagparegister ako. I want to support Runrio events kasi organized naman patakbo nila. Kung Run United Trilogy nga tinatakbuhan natin, na Im sure mahal ang registration nila, bakit di na lang natin suportahan itong takbo ni Coach Rio?

  13. pricey nga po itong race na ito… isa lang ibig sabihin nito since ito ang unang event ni coach rio for 2013 eh ibig sabihin nagtaas na sya na naman ng registration fees expect sa 21k event nya is 1,000 na… sad to say marami talagang sumusuporta sa mga patakbo ni rio kahit mahal talagang ubusan ng slots… pero ako siguro piling-pili lang ang sasalihan ko sa patakbo ng organizer na ito… may mga events naman na organize pero hindi ganun kamahal… at the end of the day nasa sa inyo pa rin ang pagpapasya kasi money nyo naman yan… choose wisely na lang mga buddies! :-)

    Ang point po ay reasonable ba iyong price?

    Iyong sa RU series, kahit ganun iyong presyo P850 for 21k, sulit naman, Meron ng singlet, medal, shirt, giveaways atbp. Compared mo iyong 2.

    Sa palagay ko kaya ganyan kamahal, breakeven (Expenses = Income) o pagkakitaan (Expenses < Income) ang habol ng Sofitel sa patakbong ito. :D

    Pero hindi pinipilit na sumali kung di kaya, para lang sa nakakaluwag sa budget at iyong gusto sa ganitong klase ng event.

  17. troll mode – hmmm.. kung gusto nyu sumali then go, kung ayaw nyu, then fine. kung masyado mahal, hanap kayo mura. simpleng buhay di ba? :)

  18. D nga dapat masanay comment # 9 para di rin maka-ugalian ng mga Race Organizers ang mga “mahal na patakbo” – na gina-grab din nman ng maraming runners. May point cna comment # 13 & 14, we have a choice & be wisely. As for me, run k n lang 10k in my vicinity. Wala ng gastos, still na-exercise ko pa myself. Yun nga lang kung habol is singlet or anything else, magbayad ka ng “mahal” to have those. Fitnesswise, you can make your own run sched/program for “free”.

  19. On comment #17 ang hirap lang every year tumataas ang reg fees ng mga runs kasi uso eh kaya kinakagat kahit mahal. Alam mo naman tayo mga pinoy mahilig makisabay kung ano “in”. In the long run okay ba sa dev ng sport to. May sawa factor din yan, Kasi ilan lang ang routes sa NCR.

  21. To end this discussion, wag na tayo sumali sa mga running events na mahal, sa lahat na lang ng Run United tayo sumali. Joke lang fellow runners. Happy New Year!

    parang wala eh, basta takbo lang …..tas bayad lang kami ….

    parang matamlay ang promotion ng runrio dito sa event na ito , mas ok pa ang Sin Tax Law may Sunvisor . . . eto wala ….

  27. ito mga alam ko pwede takbuhan, murang mura – in fact libre: UP academic oval, QC circle, CCP / PICC, Roxas Blvd, Quirino grandstand, MOA by the bay, BGC. Ayos di ba?:) Kung gagawin nyu bisyo ang mga runs na tulad na ito, masakit talaga sa bulsa, idadaing nyu talaga. Pero kung paminsan-minsan at something new (tulad nito, night run, di ko pa nasubukan) then go. Ipon Ipon lang kung gusto. Kung ayaw, e di.. ayaw. :)

  28. Correction pala. Wala ng “Mahal na Patakbo” United 3. So ang overall total is 2thousand 7hundred kung puro 21k at 3thousand 1hundred kung may 42k.

Ung patakbo ng Unilab sinusuportahan nyo kahit bubutasin wallet nyo sa sobrang mahal, tapos etong kay Coach Rio na nagorganize ng event na ito puro kritisismo ibibigay nyo. Its more fun in the Philppines nga naman.

  34. Kung gusto nyo ng mura na 10K na may medal, pwede kayong tumakbo sa One BMS Run. P550 lang for 10K. Same date din, sa March 3. Run for a Cause pa ‘to.

  35. honestly.. maxadong pricey tong event n to considering n singlet lng nman un makukuha mo.. anyway sabe nga nila eh kung namamahalan wag tumakbo d2. kaya ako dun n lng ako sa One BMS Run 2013. may singlet at medal na, nakatulong kapa..

    i was checking kung sino magbebenefit ng run na ito. i thought run for a cause. ang mahal kasi okay sana kung magpay ng ganyan kung may panggagalingan. dunn lng ako sa 1BMS. mura pa, nakatulong ka pa sa visually impaired people.

    Very well organized.
    Lots of hydration and marshals.
    Even Coach Rio guided the runners.
