Just before Christmas, Pinoy Fitness and Run4Change together with BGC, Strider.ph, Nathan Performance Gear are joining forces to bring you the first Pinoy Fitness Run For Change Charity Run!
Besides that, this is going to be the first attempt to make a GREEN RACE in BGC, so bring your own hydration bottles we’ll have refilling stations strategically located along the race route. For those that don’t have any hydration bottles yet, we’re going to have a special discount offer to all participants c/o Nathan.
This will be the first and biggest gathering of all Pinoy Fitness followers to come together and meet, greet, have fun and at the same time support a common cause of providing athletic scholarships, training equipment, uniforms for Run4Change athletes
Proceeds of the funds raised in this event will go to the Run4Change Foundation:
– Run for Change is a non-profit organization established in 2008.
– Were formally organized and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2009.
– Have organized more than 50 fun runs, corporate wellness programs and sporting events in the past 4 years.
– Hopes to promote the sport of running at the grassroots level
– To train young individuals to become the ultimate running machines and develop future Olympians who will represent the country
– Provide for opportunities to chosen athletes and further their training opportunities
– Provide for athletic scholarships for chosen individuals. Have scholarship grants for qualified applicants who wish to pursue Masteral or Doctorate degrees in Sports Science or related fields.
– Sponsor uniforms, training equipment and provide meal allowances for numerous Varsity Teams from different schools.

what is the respective time for each category? kasi nagbabalak din kami magregister sa 1k walk e if possible.. after ng 5k/10k namin for beneficiary naman kaya oks lang na doble ang saliahn.

@evelyn: there is actually no formal membership (yet?) for Pinoy Fitness, we’re currently just an online community that loves fitness. Just simply join us in some activities and drop by in our booths on runs where we are part of and smile :)

sana pag bumili ng tech shirt na PF may free registration sa RUN, for sure madaming sasali dito, at magiging reasonable ang 350php na registration. Marketing din yon sa inyo PF, sayang hindi ganun, pero pwede nyo pang baguhin. Mas magiging maganda sana yun, at maraming ma eencourage na sumali at magkaron ng tech shirt nyo.. sales din yon at marketing, if you competing with takbo.ph. Thou mas okay ang interface ng race list nyo. :) suggestion ko lang ito, kasi sayang yung 350php tapos walang singlet. :( and ano kung “Token”na ibibigay, for sure marami ang gustong malaman kung ano ito..
agree ako kay RUNathlon! lalo n kasabay kau sa SIN tax Run ng RunRio for sure mas marami ang pupunta dun. Pg ganun ang magiging plan nyo dito nlang kmi sasali instead sa sin tax.

Dito na lang ako. Hopefully makapa register ako next week. Grabe yung Sin Tax, kunsabagay, 16 pesos lang,talagang maraming kakagat dun. Sana makahabol pa sa 10k slot.

Would like clarify when the discount for Nathan products be used? Anytime at ROX? Or only on raceday at the event venue?
@Alan: you can claim it anytime and dapat before the race, since we’re doing a green race, you can use it on raceday na as your hydration bottle.

Ayos toh! 1st day simbang-gabi sa fort then diretsong takbo BGC.. pwede pang isingit magputo bung2x n bibingka.
Opinion ko lang ‘to pero mas okay siguro kung damihan niyo ang slots (kahit bib lang) para mas maraming sumali, at siyempre mas maraming matutulungan.

Hindi ako taga-PF, pero it’s safe to say na hindi actually required ang PF shirts/singlets to be worn during the event. Kahit ano puwede basta pang-takbo. But it would really be nice daw if you can wear one. Yun lang. =)
