  1. ahahaha… i ran here last year…. i only got P50 cash and 1 max’s fried chicken fiesta meal and 1L gatorade as baon…. WALA palang ATM sa island… my running buddies arrived sa race day mismo, i got there a day ahead

with those great views while running + carbo loading party + after run party… join ulit ako dito… this time with a fistfull of cash hehehe

  2. im joining! actually, may reservation na mag iina ko. ako na lang ang walang ticket hehe.. i believe the registration includes roundtrip ferry already

  3. Sorry if this ended up as double or triple posting; I don’t see it approved nor awaiting moderation.

    This is last year’s details:

    Registration Fees:
    PHP 2,500 until November 20
    PHP 3,000 from Nov 21 to December 4, 2011

    Registration Includes:
    – Round Trip Ferry
    – Lunch Buffet on Race Day
    – Race bib with RFID
    – Singlet, Race Bag, Finisher’s Medallion
    – ROX Runner’s Briefing
    – Party
    – Finisher’s Certificate

  4. question,
i’ll go there a day ahead. kesa magkulong lang ako sa hotel,

  5. @ Chuchay,

If you’re up for the upHELL and downHELL challenge, why not? ‘sides, you get to see great views.

I’ve done a few 10-milers as well, and it was a relatively easy transition to 13.1. =)

  6. # 21 Chuchay, what was your best time record for 16km? If CIHM happens to be all flat pavement track. Then a 21km wouldn’t be much of a trouble for you. But since it is a combination of trail and pavement plus agonizing uphills, I would suggest you go for the 10km for now and you will still enjoy the view… :)

However, You still have more than a month to assess yourself and train for this if you’re really determined to do it. More on Cardio and inclined tracks.

  7. we already cancelled our hotel reservation. haay pass muna ulet ako, have a more important errands to attend on dec 1-2. sayang! better luck next year

  8. My friend told me Php2700 sya including Buffet meal, singlet, medal, JACKET, transpo at post race party….Still thinking…pero maganda kasi ang mga reviews dito last year. If ever matutuloy ako, I will make the most of my running taking pics of the wonderful scenery.

  14. Hi Denizvoi,

NO MORE CUTOFF/SWEEP TIME this year for the 3rd CIHM. All finishers will get the 21K Medallion/10K Achiever Medal upon crossing the finish line.

The one you quoted is last year’s info which is not applicable anymore. Our web host has not yet updated the info.

    Big thanks.

    Edward Kho
    CIHM Race Director

  15. Hi, its been days now but still haven’t received any confirmatory email regarding our registration. Bought our ticket at SM Cinema on October 14, registered online on October 15. Sun Cruises is having problem with their system, still we don’t have reservation :( How can we contact the organizer? Thanks.

  16. Hi Maui,

My apologies for the anxiety this glitch may be causing you. We are experiencing birth pains, so to speak, but rest assured we are addressing the situation, as quickly as possible. I believe your case has been resolved by now. You will get your race registration confirmation within the day. To all other race participants who are experiencing similar difficulties you may get in touch with us through our FB account Corregidor Twenty-One. Kindly add us.

    Big thanks!

  17. Hi Graemann,

What is your full name, so we could check on the influx of the online registrants. Sometimes, registrants get the error message but their transaction gets through our portal. For the “team” and “non-competing companions” tabs please “nil” for both to indicate none. Just to be sure please repeat, maybe for 2 more times, your online registration. It’s ok if you will flood our portal, we’ll just delete duplicate transactions.

  18. Hi Edward Kho,

I have encountered the same error with Graemann, upon register in your site.
Full name is Michael Jing Del Rosario and Geofrey Lopez

    Kindly check pls.

  19. Same here, Im having Error while registering Online. I Bought 5 tickets at SM for my Team. I have to register them online. Do you have a contact number or email where we can have an assistance regarding this glitch on your system? Kindly advice.

  20. Hi Graemann, Blayan, Michael, your cases have been resolved/ Pls chk your emails. Hi Mac, what is you full name?
By the way to all others who have bought their CIHM Race tickets from SM Tickets, pls make sure that the number you indicate on the online registration form is the SM Ticket Number. It is found on the upper left portion of the ticket indicated with “#” preceding it.

  21. Hi Edward! I havent received my confirmation email as of today. Full name is Mark Chico.
Kindly check Reiner tatlonghari as well
    Thanks

  22. @ graemann – Jeffrey Ubalde’s confirmation should be in his email inbox before midnight tonight.
@ cath – Hi Cath, we haven’t come across your online reg details as of yet. Kindly do it again, maybe twice, just to make sure. Don’t worry about flooding our portal we’ll just delete duplicate transactions.
@ Alex – Myna is correct with the gunstart time, 8am for the 21k, 8:15am for the 10k. But please take note the difference of the conditions in Corregidor and the city runs: the island is thickly covered by trees and 90% of the running will be in the interior of the island, so runners won’t really have to worry about the intense heat of the sun. 9am in Corregidor is like 5am in Manila, notwithstanding the fact that there is no smog, pollutants, and vehicular traffic. So runners could really concentrate on their running performance or appreciate the breath-taking sites in the island.
@ Myna – Hi Myna. The jacket windbreaker is an optional merchandise item of the 3rd CIHM. It is actually limited edition as there will be only 100 pieces to be sold during the Runners’ Briefing at ROX on Nov 24 & 25, first come, first served. It will be priced at P900. The qualifying time will ONLY BE APPLICABLE to the 501st and up race registrants. But don’t worry about it, it’s so generous (3h30m Men & 3h45m Women for the 21K; 1h30m Men & 1h45m Women for the 10K).
@ Mac – Hi Mac. Your and Reiner Tatlonghari’s confirmation should be in your respective email Inboxes by now. Let me know if you haven’t got them yet.
    Cheers all!

  23. Hi runner.ice. There is no qualifying time to get a finishers medal. All you need to do is to finish the race. But to clarify, the Qualifying Times (21K – 3h30m Male, 3h45 Female; 10K – 1h30m Male, 1h45m Female) to join the race will ONLY BE APPLICABLE to the 501st and up race registrants.

  24. Tanong ko lang kung kasama na sa confirmation email yun reservation sa sun cruise? kasi tumawag ako kahapon kinuha lang details and SM Ticket ID then sabi magemail daw sila.

  25. how come the sun cruise personnel didn’t get my sm ticket id, she just asked for my name, email and contact details, then she told me to wait for the email confirmation from them before i book a reservation for the accommodation.

  26. @edward kho thank you i got the email confirmation, @blayan me too she just asked for my name, email and contact details, she also told me to wait for the email confirmation from them before i book a reservation for the accommodation and didnt get my sm ticket id #.

  27. @jhoy base on my understanding, I think kung #501 participant ka kailangan mo magbigay ng proof na nakatapos ka ng 21km within the cutoff time bago nila tanggapin yun registration mo

  28. @Edward

Does this mean that 21K first timers will no longer be accepted if they are registrant #501+? First timers won’t have any qualifying times to present.

  29. @ RunningWild, blayan, Michael – The online race registration (on http://www.corregidor21.runningmate.ph) is separate from booking for your ferry trip (with Sun Cruises). These are the info that Sun Cruises should get from you: SM Ticket number (to validate your transaction), Full name, Gender, and Age. Insist that they take note of these info. And unless you are also going to book for accommodation there’s no need for you to give out your mobile nbr and/or email address.
@ jhoy – runningwild2 is right in saying that the 501st and succeeding race registrants will be required to submit a proof of race result from any 21k/10k race participated in, before final acceptance in the 3rd CIHM. And ALL 3rd CIHM participants will get a Finsher’s Medallion/Achiever Medal upon crossing the finish line.

  30. @ Alvin – excellent point! For first time 21K runners who will be registering for the 3rd CIHM on the 501st slot and so on, we will refer to their 10K race result, it should be within the 10K CIHM standard. It would not be advisable for any runner to jump from “0 to hero” especially in the 21K of CIHM, that’s why there’s the 10K Challenge. But same goes for 10K first timers, we’ll request for a 5k race result. Then again, there may be runners who could be exceptions and the CIHM Organizing Team are too willing to assist interested runners especially brave ones. We will find a way. But to save those keen runners of the trouble of providing documentary proof, register as early as now. Over 100 slots have been gobbled up so far. That means there are still 400 fast track slots open. Don’t worry about jostling with CIHM Alums (those who have joined the 1st and 2nd CIHM). They are exempted from the Qualifying Times. That’s one of their privileges. Cheers!

  31. Thanks Edward Kho for giving info regarding the running condition of the island at 9am. I am worried about it since I am not used to being exposed to sun after 8am.

  33. @ jhoy – Hi!

  37. @ jhoy – Looks like aabot naman kayo. We still have about 300 plus fast track slots. Pero huwag ka mag-alala, di naman kami totally magiging iron-handed in implementing our Qualifying Time. Hahanap tayo ng paraan. Cheers!
