panu ung lagpas 2:30 sa 21k? walang result?
@GYMike ako din wala eh. siguro dahil lagpas ng 2:30:59 ung time.
results lang, pinagdamot pa.
Are there better ways of finding our names on the result? Sana type lang yung bib numbrr lalabas na yun result for the person. Sobrang hirap yung isa isahin yung names from the list of hundreds of pages. Sana naiconsider din ito. The pictures also ang hirap maghanap. Sana like other races we just have to type the bibb number them you’ll know if nahagip ka ng camera or not. Sana maconsider din ito next time.
@ Mel, comment 209.
Kahit Bib, Last Name or First Name mahahanap na po un.
I really appreciate your response. I’m sorry for my ignorance. At least now alam ko na po yun way na ganon. Dami kasi kami tumakbo last Sunday and we find it hard to search our names. How about po sa picture? Are there better and faster way like this than to look at each folder. Thanks
para race result lang naman… tanggap na naman na di umabot sa cut off time. nakapag donate din nman kami ah kahit papano.
to comment 209 @mel
see all sa finals. :)
@mel: if you’re referring to the photos posted on facebook, those were taken by volunteer/hobby photographers. i don’t think they have access to that application that would enable you to search for your photos by name or bib number. if i’m not mistaken, the run had its own official photographers? maybe their photos are tagged :)
Hi, I had my 1st Half Mary last Sunday, although I didnt make the cut-off time, it was still a blast and I had a great experience. Just want to know if it is still possible for me to join the Dec 09 Milo 21k run?
saw my result na, though my name wasn’t there..got my result under the name “elims runner”..try using your bib numbers..
@QP comment 183
@limited 190
salamat bos chief.
I hope this will help all of us. I did a 42 km runner for the first time, even though I didn’t qualified for the finals it’s a good time for a first time marathoner with only one 21 km trail race experience.
The concern of the medal and loot bag, you need to read the booklet carefully before complaining that you didn’t get any, you will get one if you’re able to reach the cut off time which is 2 hrs and 30 mins for 21 km and 6 hrs for 42 km. I don’t have any comment for those who got a medal even though they surpass the cut off time.
For the price – 500 pesos is really a good amount for everything. it’s a fixed price compared to other races, and remember this is not an ordinary race, we are doing it for a cause. The price of the races is allotted for shoes to be given away for those in need, children, etc. We are running for a cause, for others and not simply for medal, etc.
About the hydrating stations, they are all well supplied. Everything, the right time is they’re overflowing. I commend the volunteers, they did well. The cups with water are all prepared. Just one comment, the special drink they choose are carbonated, not every runner or most runner like the effect of carbonated drink in their stomach.
And finally, running in the rain. It’s the most amazing thing, you are not a runner if you are complaining about it. If you decided to run or join a race, then come well prepared. Enjoy the run, endure the pain, smile with the people, embraced the experienced.
RunRIo and Milo gave each runner something they will always remember. :) GODSPEED
I just hope they could put off the timing indicator on top after 2;30 cutoff for 21 km para d aasa na meron ka ring gustong makita na official run result. I print every run result for my run. First time ko for milo @ 21k. We all know we run for advocates and our health but we also have motivation too right? Medals, ok admit theres cut off. Official results to show im still slow? None… Tsk tsk I dont understand the rational. Anyway, marami pa naman run that gives you all you want and also help others too. Bye Milo.. Would never run wearing that green shirt again.
Hi, ask ko lang about the time, when i crossed the finish line the time is 00:32:++ but the official result released my time is 00:38:08 (GUN TIME) also my friends said that he crossed the finish line at 00:35:++ but his official time is 00:38:52 (GUN TIME)also my other friend said he crossed at 00:35:++ but his official time is 00:34:16(GUN TIME). this is not a protest just asking kasi katuwaan lang namin magkakaibigan paunahan sa finish line, panalo na ako last sunday but pag labas ng official time talo ako, i’m just wondering kung bakit ganun. pero over-all masaya kami and planning to join again next year
bkit ganun ung s 5K run.. wla ung time result ko ng 2.82km which is dumaan nmn aq dun.. anyway ok nmn result ng Gun Time at Chip time ko and ok PR ko this time unlike last Dec… more practice pa rin’ but still not for competition its only for fun and to help the beneficiary… GBU all
hydration was perfect, route was challenging, weather was great as expected for a first time 21km runner i had fun, happy with myself.nakakalungkot pati sa over all results i didnt see my name because i did not make it the 2hrs 30mins time? ala na loot bag sa finish line which btw surprised me. pero sana ma post ang name ko kahit yun lang sana, seeing my name is worth the hard run. i agree with Bri and purelove
My bib no. is 10701 registered as Danny Reyes.
How come I’m now Elims Runner in the race result of 10k?
Personally, I am glad that medals weren’t given to those who did not meet the cutoff. It gives that medal some value.
For those who finished within the cutoff and received the medal, I’m sure you feel some pride. Brag away!
For those who finished outside the cutoff, train harder, run farther. The cutoff is not impossible to beat!
And for those who finished outside the cutoff and are complaining that they received no medal, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND TRAIN! Quit complaining…
I will join San Pablo Leg. :) See u there. :)
@Slow 218
Goodluck :)
@Marlon Bachecha: Saan po galing ung quoted times nyo, Sir, like ung 00:32++? Sa relo nyo po ba to? Dalawa po kasi yung oras na andun sa PDF file: Gun Time and Chip Time. Yung Gun Time po, magstart yun nung pag fire nung gun. If you were not on the front line of your category sa starting line, hindi po talaga un sasakto sa actual na oras nyo. Yung Chip time, that should more or less coincide dun sa oras nyo sa relo nyo po. Your Chip Time starts when you step on the timing mat sa start line. So kung nasa likod po kayo ng pack, ilang minutes/seconds pa after the gun start ka makakaapak sa timing mat, thus the difference :)
@damien comment 221
yes you can still join the 21k category in the milo finals on december
@ 233 Mark
Personally I’m not quitting on running and will forever run until my body says otherwise. Am not complaining also on having no medal, no loot bag. Finished 2:39 on my run keeper for 21k. Am just after the official results. If Milo cant do that, I will run in other races na lang that could put my name – may cut off man o wala. Official results for me is impt. Medals? Well i’ve already got 3 from Ru1&2 plus condura. Official results – milo tipid!
3 sila naka Soleus at 3 kami naka Garmin Forerunner.
Garmin = 42.45k
Soleus = 43k
Conclusion: baka GFarmin ang pinang measure ng Runrio sa distance nila sinceGarmini ang authority when it comes to GPS. siguro pati pag swing ng kamay nakukuha ng Soleus kaya sobr-sobra sa distance ang measurment nila.
Just my two cents.
I ran in 5km 2nd or 3rd wave but my guntime is the same as my chip time,disappointing to know, because I am very particular with my PR. This let me down.
first time kung tumakbo sa milo marathon 42k, ok yung time, na break ko yung record ko sa condura marathon last feb 5 2012,kaya lang wala yung pangalan ko bib# elims runners lang ang nakalagay saan kaya ako nagkamali?
Using my own time i finished at 2:31:25. My guntime would be 2:32 aleast kasi i started sa likod. My actual chiptime would have made me beat the cut off. Sana chiptime ang gamit otherwise nexttime everybody would want to be at the front of the pack sa start ng race.
Sana ipost man lang yung time ng lahat. Walang cost sa milo and it allows people to gauge their accomplishment vis a vis other runners.
My race result was not on the list. My bib no. is 22960 21K. I got my medal and loot bag because i finished at 2:22 approx.
@Slow 236
And ang term na finisher, eh finisher within cutoff.
Since na 2:39 ka naman, take it as a challenge na by december, nasa official results ka na. It’s not just about finishing, but finishing it quick.
@Edrick comment 237
@230 Mark
@jhunie comment 230

Overall, this is a memorable race for my 1st 42k, I love it. The rain just gave a renewed hope to me and to other runners.
Love the medal, this is my new favorite!

Thank you Milo and to all. God bless !
i clearly remember what the guy in the mic have said… that runners in the back need not to worry because we will be timed the moment we crossed the start line and the finish line. i was in 21k category by the way.
i finsihed at 2:01 and i qualified and i’m not complaining… just giving you guys something to think about.
photos for 21k and 42k please check from time to time nag uupload pa po..

feel free to tag yourselves :)
@Spartan Runner – thanks for the pixs :-)
@Mel comment 214
Tama po si QP comment 220. “Those were taken by volunteer/hobby photographers . . .”
Official Photos – https://photovendo.ph/
wow ang galing may photovendo pala dito… galing.. galing…
hopefully any events eh may photovendo… atleast naibalik na sya ulit last yata na may gumamit nito eh QCIM 2010 if im not mistaken :-)
Thanks to photovendo and Spartan Runner for the photos.
@Running Preacher: comment 224
@Solo Runner: comment 231
Well said guys! Hope that will challenge all runners to work hard in achieving goals. If they want medal, then they need to train for it. Not just complain and do nothing about it.
See you guys on the road! Keep running and keep inspiring!
Have a good great day everyone!
@toots,
For those who are aiming for the top ranks, then gun time is used. This is why elite runners should be upfront.
Me? I’m in it to beat my time. Don’t care if I am ranked 1563rd, as long as I beat my previous PR!
@toots comment 247
@patrickstar,
it actually dawned on me that I could take shortcuts, reach the finish line, and get a medal. Usually the marshals would handover a ribbon to mark that you crossed certain checkpoints, but that practice was non-existent in Milo. The ladies who handed out medals simply check if you crossed the finish line below the cutoff time.
But still, shame on those who had cheated. I’m sure you are very proud of yourselves.
puro naman 42k at 21k ang pictures…
sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N5RP0YbX1s
@Solo Runner: You’re correct. Anyone can actually cheat during the race and I bet you would agree with me that cheating will not do us any good. It’s OK to brag that we have finished within the cut-off and got a medal if we are deserving of getting one.
Kaya don sa mga nakatapos within the cut-off, congrats and good luck sa finals especially to those who qualified. At para naman don sa mga nahuli, uulitin ko nalang ang mga magagandang sinabi ng ibang runners sa itaas na train hard, persevere, and get that elusive medal the next time. Kaya mo yan!
bakit parang ang pangit ng milo marathon naun? mas maganda pa yung last year
21k ako tsaka alam ko sa sarili ko na below 2:30 ang time ko pero d ko mahanap name ko… official na result na ba yan? last year makikita mo lahat ng ranking mo age category as a whole mens category naun wala lng result lng taz la na???? anu ngyari?
+1 kay solorunner. The key here in my opinion is improvement.

bakit ung race results ng 21k and 42k limited to cut-off time lang, pero ang race results ng 3k and 5k kumpleto kahit lagpas cut-off time.
@lexi
that is the way it should be. otherwise the cut-off time will be useless. remember that milo is an AIMS/IAAF-certified race event.
@jujjay – hindi ako iyon, pero kasama ko siya, we left him i think between 32K-35K to ask for assistance sa support crew namin along lrt station ng Gil Puyat….
@dalekado ah i see. I was behind him kasi during the last 1km cguro nun 42k. I was so frustrated half the race kc nga sakit talaga ng itbs ko. Tapos nun nakita ko yun pain niya he made me realize na ang importante pa rin is to finish. I was clapping din when he crossed the line.
@dalekado comment 268
sad to know…. we registered 92 runners from our school, but we can’t find our names from the finisher’s result… yun pala ELIMS RUNNER na lang ang inilagay sa mga entries namin. sayang naman… exited pa naman akong makita yung name ko sa list.
OMG!..ang laking hindi maipaliwanag ang nangyari sa recent milo elimination…ang daming questions…sana may sumagot na from MILO/or event organizer..lam u na who?…kasi mukhang nagtatago?…e.g. when RU1 nagkaroon ng problem sa post race kit, immediately, they investigate and found to be na kasalanan nila ang nangyari, so they made the necessary actions (APRUB!!!PAK NA PAK)..rexona finishers shirt-ang daming nag comment bakit walang finishers na nakalagay sa post race shirt?, they said, they listen to all runners, kaya meron ng nakalagay (APRUB!!!PAK NA PAK!!)…MILO:CUT OFF TIME for 21k runners:2:30, walang medal? walang certificate (i doubt, because previously meron at kahit ung mga matatagal na..)walang loot bag eh bakit may nakakuha after cut off?..42k umabot ng 6hrs? di ba sabi na manual 4:30..at omg pati results may cut off na…why is it inspite of all the kudos..wala man lang silang response?..even their official web site or contact site wala rin sumasagot?…ay alam ko na “CUT OFF” na pala..
i have a great respect to milo marathon..ive been a part of the medics 10years ago…but things are changing..hindi porket matagal kana sa business na ito eh hindi ka nagkakamali…
i wish sana they do something para maging FUN FUN na ulit ang RUN dito sa PINAS…sa lahat ng RUNNER’S congratulations!!!!
BAKIT GANUN? Akin ang BIB Number, and i’m sure na yun ang aking chip time 24.03
bakit Leo Noel Oliman ang nasa list?
GMHES… Elims Runner Lahat Name nyo?
@henry, mali ka ata, page 4 sa handbook, cut off time: 42k 6 hours after official start of the race…
@iamnoel
i understand naman po that there’s cut-off and that it’s a AIMS/IAAF certified event, kaya lang race results lang naman ang hinihingi nila eh, para lang naman malaman ng mga runners na hindi umabot sa cut-off how far or near sila sa goal. will it hurt Milo to tell the runners? ok na nga sa kanila na hindi cla nabigyan ng medal at lootbag dahil ndi talaga umabot sa cut-off, pero sana at least they would know how they did in the run. bakit naman ang 3k/5k/10k kumpleto, dahil ba ndi part ng qualifying sa natl finals ang 3k/5k/10k categories? I only ran 5k but i just feel bad for the 21k/42k runners. :-(
Milo should’ve based the cut-off on chip time, not gunstart time.
Thanks God at s MILo..Khit my cold nkaabot prin b4 d cut-off time. Ska fold ung B-tag chip me..I’m very hapi n my result me…nice experienced 1st tym s MILO run..ska s hindi nkaabot congrats p rin..ang mhalaga ay ang hardwork and experience..keep in running..train well=)
@henry: Sir, it always pays off to read the handbook!
@Lexi
ok noted. let this be an experience to inspire you and other to train harder to make it within the cut-off time. milo finals will be on december 9 same time and same venue.
By now people should realize that the Milo Marathon, especially the 42K, is not in the same league as the fun runs. I am glad that the organizers are strict about cut-off times . It should MOTIVATE people to train harder!
I wrote about this as early as April (https://solorunning.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/cutoff-times/)
“It would indeed be a frustration—not to mention a humiliation—to go through the effort of running 42K only to have no recorded time!”
So quit whining and complaining and pleading. There is a Run United Marathon coming in end of October. That’s 3 months from now. TRAIN NOW! Whatever energy you are spending complaining can be channelled into your run!
@solo runner nope, have to disagree. i did train for the 42k as i am sure the other runners/walkers did but sometimes you just dont make it to the cut off even though you did your part prior and during the actual race. frustrated? heck yeah. every painful step. humiliated i didnt made it? definitely not. and most of the comments re medals, lootbags are not whines or are from people begging. they just want answers to what i believe are honest questions. i am a marathon finisher even though i got to the line after 6 hours. heck, im just glad im still alive. but to read posts like yours saying that we need to stop whining and complaining is not fair. i think the word “finisher” was not clearly defined in the handbook. but all’s water under the guadalupe bridge now. :) to those who made it, i raise my gatorade to you guys! see you next year!
sorry kung off topic pero ang nice kasi. from an ad ng dick’s sports store. pang FB. hehehe.
You put in so much time, so much effort, running day after day, mile after mile, it’s just what you do. Those that don’t run, don’t really understand. It’s why runners share such a kinship with runners. Maybe it’s the encouragement that you get, or the commitment you made that keeps you going. You’re a runner, so you finish what you start. And you are not alone.
I ran the 10k category and was happy with my result since I’m just new to running. This is just my thoughts upon checking the race handbook.
1. Gun start as basis of cut off time. In the handbook lahat ng race category may official cut off time and lahat sila yung time… after the official start of the race (I think race officially starts pag nag send off na) Sa 10k nga 2 waves kaya dapat aware tayo to make necessary adjustments to make through sa traffic ng runners considering malaking event sya.Actually meron din sa rules na hanggang 10 mins lang after ng gun start ka pwede pa tumakbo so mahirap pag late “Participants who begin before the actual start time of his/her race category will be disqualified. Likewise,
participants who do not start within 10 minutes from respective flag off will be disqualified and may not
be allowed to start. No result will be given to disqualified participants.”
2. Finishers Certificate. Twice nabanggit sa handbook (page 6-fine print and page 9) na those who finish within the cut off time will receive this (official time is Gun start- point number 1).
3. Loot bags and Medals. Ang term lang na nabanggit sa Handbook ay “Finishers / Upon completion of the race”. Never nabanggit na within the cut off time lang ang makaka receive nito. I checked yung milo website ang nakita ko lang is dun sa note part ng prizes “Note: All 21-K finishers within the cut-off time will receive a medal and loot bag.” So medyo contradicting sya.
2. Publishing of race results. I think sa part na to, the organizers owe it to the runners to publish all those na naka cross ng finish line their names maski outside the cut off times. Ako din it is important for me na may time chip pag sasali ako so that ill know my official time and for my personal monitoring ng progress ko. yung mga freebies ay secondary na lang.
Just sharing my thoughts sa race. sana maliwanagan tayong lahat ng race organizers para makapag move on. Magandang halimbawa yung reaction ni Manny Pacquiao nung sinabi yung offical results ng laban nya. Salamat po.
para sa mga nagpipilit sa rules na all finishers of 21k and 42k will receive medal and loot bag.

this is second year in a row na same spot inilagay ang baggage area where baha … mababasa ang shoes mo pagpunta sa baggage are even before you warm up resulting to a very uncomfortable running condition of your feet. And wet ka na nga due to combination of rains and sweating, basa pa ang gamit mo dahil nasa ilalim ng mesa inilagay … one might get sick after a long run dahil di magagamit yung dalang extra changing clothes dahil nabasa sa baggage are. This is one area that Milo and runrio should improve next year’s elimination.
Thanks to runrio for exchanging my 42k finisher shirt from 2xl to xl, i can now use it!

Milo Marathon to..
peace po!
