WWF is to launch the Reverse the Bad student program through a Reverse Run on 22 July 2012 at SM Mall of Asia. As suggested by its name, part of the run (200 meters untimed) will be done in reverse – wherein participants will backpedal through the course. An apt execution, it symbolizes our ability to confront the present environmental state by looking back and moving forward.

Due to bad weather the organizers of the WWF Reverse Run has decided to postpone the event. Formal announcement will be posted in a bit. Kindly help spread the word.

Registration Fees:
3K – PHP 500
6K – PHP 500
12K – PHP 600

– Race kit includes: Race singlet, Race Bib, Safety Pins, Maps
– Participants will only run backwards for 200meters. Running time will only start when the participants will make the 180° turn for the 3K, 6K and 12K distances.
– Finishers will receive a limited edition WWF baller band.
– 10 watches are to be raffled of c/o Soleus.

  11. sana may medal ang 12k? not just a baller para m-encourage yung iba to go for the 12k run instead of shorter distance.

  20. I dont think maraming sasali dito. Marami pa namang recreational runners na manghihinayang sa 600pesos for 12k tapos baller band lang. Hhhhmmmm.

  21. @vintage: I dont think there is something wrong with asking for a medal lalo na sa mga medyo mahal na run. At 600pesos for 12K eh expensive nga talaga. Okay sana toh kaso at 50pesos per kilometer, pass muna ako lalo na dahil baller band lang.

  22. kung kaya pang ihabol ang medal for 12k much better, para mas madaming sumali dito. Kasi for seasoned runners, yung medal kahit na anong yari will serve as their price and fuflfillment na din everytime na nakaka finish cla ng run, specially for longer distance.

  25. ang mahal naman nito, wala pang medal! sana mapagisip isip nyo pa na maglagay ng medal for 12k finishers. nagiisip pa ko kung ano takbuhan sa 22, kellogs, bank run or ito. ung baller na sinasabe nyo eh parang d worth it sa 600 na babayaran namin. just an opinion. thanks.

    Possible resumption of the event is in October.

    Thank you to those who signed up for WWF’s Reverse Run! Originally slated for July 22, the run was postponed due to Typhoon Ferdie. We apologize for any inconvenience the postponement may have caused. Your safety is our top priority.

    However, we are pleased to announce that the Reverse Run is rescheduled on September 9, 2012 at our new venue partner The Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill in Taguig City. Race distances are 3K, 6K and 12K. Assembly is at 5am.

    We have reopened the registration on our partner sites. Registration period is from August 6 to September 3, 2012 at Chris Sports (Glorietta 3, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila and Fitness and Athletics at the Bonifacio Global City) and Skechers (Festival Mall, Market Market and TriNoMa).

    McKinley is a good not to mention exciting route because there are uphill roads. I hope they include 2 loops of uphill just like what happened at Kellogg’s Run:)

    Why the organizers did replaced the place of the event? The change of date can be accepted but the place as well?? Why??? I am from Vito Cruz, Manila. Have you considered addresses of all participants? It will be very difficult in our part to get to Mc Kinley Hill instead in MOA. Please bring back the original place of event (MOA near IMAX- the agreed place of event, as far as I know).
